Why does everyone like them? I think they suck.

They're pretty original inside the genre, and when they aren't original, they make up for it by being rich in substance.

Every Time I Die have two decent albums. Hot Damn! is really good fun and Last Night In Town is contrived but awesome. Not that original though, I have no idea where you got that. Plus, I love their lyrics.

Listening to Rosesdead. Generic, but fun.

I'm seeing Poison The Well in September. Their supporting gallows. Should be fun.

Poison the Well is metalcore? I thought it was just hardcore. But ok, it doesnt matter i always confuse genres. I heard a couple of their songs a few days ago on a friends ipod and they sucked massively. Sounded like they were forcing a dissonant, gritty, hardcore sound out but failed and produced cacophonous poopoo.

I like Lamb of God, I dunno if that counts. Unearth has one song I like; Giles from the album III: In the Eyes of Fire. The rest of the album sounded generic and disappointing. Granted i only heard it once, it didnt interest me at all...I guess I'm not really into this genre that much but I'm willing to explore it a little more before i dismiss it save for LoG...

LoG, no. Unearth pwns, Poison The Well is awesome, Converge is the best Metalcore band ever, Botch is superb, Hot Damn! by Every Time I Die is great..

Unearth's older stuff wasnt too good, but their last cd was pretty good. Nothing really groundbreaking but a huge step forward for them and could be a good sing of things to come.

I used to like Poison the Well...they started to get boring though. Maybe I'll like it again in a few months.

Check out the album Jane Doe. Its some of their best...i think it was recently uploaded in the DU.
