Onset Of Putrefaction, GO GET IT NOW!

And for Bathory, get Bathory or Blood Fire Death.

I'd recommend Onset of Putrefaction over Epitaph as a whole. Individual songs;

Extreme Unction
Fermented Offal Discharge
Only Ash Remains
Stabwound

(two from each album)

Can someone recommend me a good W.A.S.P album? i've got their
self titled and both of their Neon God releases.

acefrehleyjendell 01-05-2005 04:11 AM
Holy triple post, Batman!

EDIT (as to avoid spam) : I'm looking for some heavier rock songs to drive to. I know this is a very generic request, but I would like to be able to listen and still focus on driving back to school without it being overly disruptive...
KISS - Unholy
KISS - Psycho Circus
AC/DC - Highway to hell
Motley Crue - Kickstart my heart
Metallica - Enter Sandman
Megadeth - Peace Sells
Megadeth - Moto Psycho
Motorhead - Bomber
Alice Cooper - School's out
Black Sabbath - Computer God
Ozzy - Crazy Train
Ozzy - Bark at the moon

i know i'll probably get flamed for the Metallica one, but it is good to drive to.
and if you haven't heard the KISS one's give them a listen, they are quite heavy.

I am thinking of buying an audioslave album or two... Which ones would be good to buy? And what bands can one compare them to? I'm not even sure if I'd like them, so I came on here to, you know, try and figure out if I would... lol Thanks in advance.

Actually, now that I think about it, I might want to try soundgarden as well... I know very little about either of thesee bands, but an album or two I might want to try would be nice.

munky_magik 01-05-2005 09:44 AM

Audioslave only have one album which is their S/T.
Instrumentation is similiar to that of Rage Against the Machine
Vocals are similar to Soundgarden.

Try downloading some stuuf by them Like: set it off, I am the Highway, Like a stone, and Cochise. If you like those songs get the album.

splashfreak 01-05-2005 09:45 AM

Oh, they only have one album? Huh. Well that just further proves my knowledge. lol

Highway to hell is a great song to drive to.
I am an Australian i have every AC/DC album, and pretty much every album
after back in black just destroys what credabiity they had.
thunderstruck is the worst song, highway to hell is not that bad.

IMO Jailbreak and the jack are their best.

For Emperor, all of the albums are good, but the two best are In the Nightside Eclipse and Anthems to the Welkin at Dusk. Nightside is more straight up raw black metal, while Anthems is more atmospheric and mystic(but still very black metal).

ragefan515 01-06-2005 11:04 AM

Can someone recommend some good albums of the following"

-Napalm Death
-Evergrey
-Rhapsody
-Arch Enemy
-Crematory

LeperAffinity 01-06-2005 08:03 PM

For Arch Enemy, start with Black Earth, then get Burning Bridges and Stigmata. These three all feature their old singer, Johan Liiva. The newer albums with Angela Gossow are okay, but nowhere near as good as the older albums. Also, you might want to check out Nonexist. That was Johan's band after he was kicked out of AE.

CaptainWaits 01-07-2005 03:11 PM

^^Great Thanx :thumb:

Any input on the other ones??

You can cut out Crematory though, cuz I heard some of their stuff the other day and and I really never liked it at all

For one, you obviously don't read the thread. This is about awnsering requests, not just randomly throwing out albums/songs for no reason. And if you are going to suggest something, just don't make a list. Give justified reasons behind it to give people insentive to check it out or spark some intrest.

And ya, your username sucks ass.
