My friends make fun of them, but I haven't heard anything by them. The only people I know that like them are girls who 9 months ago liked Simple Plan. I guess it's safe to say that I can't listen to their music now without a false preconception of the quality.

As for those girls "who 9 months ago liked Simple Plan," ect. That happens with every music group that makes it big. You'll get alot of people who just jump on the bandwagon because it is good music but they just use it as a social vector. As for the people who loathe him, dont be a hipocrite and hate just cause you dislike those who listen to whatever people tell them to.

All I am saying is it is very likely that I will be incapable of seeing the quality of this music after being exposed to such rabid hate for the band by others before hearing any of their material. As of now my position is neutral. Speaking of neutral, I got Neutral Milk Hotel's [I]In The Aeroplane Over the Sea[/I] yesterday. It's amazing. But that's off topic. Uh..
