they suck. the only thing there bringing to music scence is 11 year old girls with famous stars and straps t shirts who think there so punk.

no, my g/f luvs them and shes 14..... :lol: ....i on the other hand find them as a horrible live band with sort of a boring sound but they did have a decent first album.

No one really cares. If someone is talking about 'emo' in the Pop-Punk forum, it's obvious they're not talking about the real stuff so you don't have to go around correcting people. If you really wanna talk about emo, go to the Emo/Hardcore forum......

I am a fan of MCR, more so on their first album then the last, but the last was satisfactory. I liked them a lot more before I saw them live at the Bamboozle Fesitival. My friends had seen them when the performed with Green Day, and gave me good reviews on the performance, so my expectations were raised. But with their performance being the last one that night, after watching energy filled performances by Catch 22 and the All American Rejects and watching a mesmorizing perfomance by Alkaline Trio, they left me disapointed. They had the crowd sing to much of the songs and it just wasnt packed with as much energy as I would have liked. I still like them, but they're not so high up on my scale

I'll admit, I actually like My Chemical Romance. It's my little secret.

I like them. Their a great band. The popularity and media coverage is a bit ridiculous, but who cares about that. Musicianwise they are good.

And whoever said they were good as far as musicianship goes, the two guitar players are brilliant, Gerard can sing and has good lyrics, the new drummer is satisfactory, but Mikey can't play bass worth a ****.
