I think I was the same way that Dan is... I just thought they were so-so at first, now I am in love with them. Nobody Puts Baby In The Corner is a great song, and so is Dead On Arrival. I think Patricks voice is good, not annoying.

Patrick has a great voice. Listen to 'Nobody Puts Baby In The Corner' or 'A Little Less Sixteen Candles... and you can tell right away.

I don't see how his voice is high pitched...like at all. In fact really he goes deep a lot, like in "Nobody Puts Baby in the Corner" like people have been saying. His voice isn't really high pitched at all.

Its higher, but its not VERY high pitched. Its nothing compared to Rufio, Coheed and Cambira, Circa Survive, Anatomy of a Ghost, The All-American Rejects, Copeland, Saves the Day, Motion City Soundtrack and a ton of other bands. Its just another reason people use to talk sh[size=2]it[/size] about them cause they're on MTV and its not "cool" to like a band on MTV.

Listen to him on "Get Busy Living Or Get Busy Dying" on the last chorus, and he is still hitting the high notes at the end. Patrick's voice is powerful, and I think that's a reason people don't like him. People tend to have a problem with bands who can sing (The Used instantly come to mind), which I find a bit weird

I know that his voice can get high. I'm not saying that. He gets high in "Dance, Dance" and "Our Lawyers Made Us Change the Name of This Song So We Wouldn't Get Sued". I'm just saying that his normal singing voice isn't particularly(sp?) high and I don't understand why people keep saying that.

And yes, he is an incredible singer.

Lol, The low post count=St00pid n00b theory. I just wanted to post my songs in the songwriting area. I wasnt planning on making any threads in here, I always just look around for abit before I start adding random threads to any board I join.
