does anybody still like bad brains? how come there are so few bad brains tabs? is it because their songs are easy to figure out? or is it because people don't like bad brains? are there any bad brains fans besides me? bad brains bad brains bad brains?
I think bad brains is one of the best hardcore bands, and their influence is huge. Henry Rollins credited HR with inspiring him to get into music on this website: http://www.astralwerks.com/bad_brains/default.html There are not that many bad brains tabs because Dr. Know's riffs are so **** fast and at times complex, and not easy to figure out. I'm a huge fan, and think people at times can be turned off by the reggae aspect of their music. Thier first album is their best and most influential |
Great Answer, sketchyjoe!!!
Bad Brains were one of the founders of Hardcore. Teir sound evolved from punk.
Strike Anywhere's sound evolved from a sound that evolved from a sound that evolved from a sound that evolved from Bad Brains' sound. 80s hardcore is very different from the hardcore of today.
I could not have said it better! The Brains do rule, and they helped form the music I love, hardcore (along with Black Flag, Minor Threat..etc...). Saw them once, Mississippi Nights in St. Louis, in 1989. They KICKED PROVERBIAL ***!!!! |
Good god, I'm going insane waiting for that new album...
