Now THAT is an interesting though. Rush is one of my favorite bands as well. Isn't it funny how Rush is tied into a lot of the bands I listen to.

And I agree, Incubus is not the kinda stuff I like, but I like them.. because they are not just funk like Fungus Amongus, but they're alternative, they're hard but not too hard and Brandon has a nice voice, their lyrics are inspiring, and guess what, they actually thank their fans in every album, I think that is something a lot of bands forget to do.

It's true. I saw an interview with everyone except for Ben and they said numerous times that Ben was better at every instrument when compared to each member.

Do you REALLY think Ben can play drums better than Jose? Seriously, that´s impossible, Ben´s a great musician, but he´s NOT a better drummer than Jose, just watch Vitamin on the Alive at Red Rocks DVD, and you´ll know what I mean. In my opinion Jose is just as good, or maybe even better, than many mainstream drummers out there. Although I must say that Ben can sing pretty well, and he improvises a lot, which shows that he´s talented. Some people say that he´s a better guitarist than a bassist. Maybe someday Mike and Ben perform a guitar duo on stage, that´d be amazing.

Incubus is easily one of my favorite bands. ACLOTM and S.C.I.E.N.C.E. are my favorite albums of theirs. Every band member is excellent, and Jose Pasillas's drumming on Crow was absolutely inspiring. Sick Sad Little World is an incredible song, and the live version from their new DVD even better.

I really like 'em, i only have Morning View though. i HAVE heard songs on their older/other albums though, and i like them even better than the ones on morning view. "Sink Beneath the Line" is a great one.

Their sound changed (again) when they got Ben and I didn't really like it. I like the songs with Dirk much more.

Ive been into them for a long time, didnt really like the latest album,, mourning view and science i like alot.

I read that Incubus was a funk/metal band, similar to Faith No More. (That's why I went out and bought S.C.I.E.N.C.E to be honest, I was after funk metal!).
Now, I've never heard the later band, but I think Glass is probably the closest Incubus song to 'metal', that being said, Incubus is still a bloody awesome band.
Definately one of my favourite.

Probably like their S.C.I.E.N.C.E the most, but I have all their albums, except for Enjoy Incubus.

Dirk has a much better style. Plus he was the bassist when incubus was still "incubus" with there funk and cool rhymes. The new bassist [forget his name] is kinda like every other bands bassist in the fact that there is no "funk" to his basslines. I also believe Incubus has a great guitarist who is truely underated. 4th Movement [Incubus Halo Song] has some sweet riffs in it.

the new guy has some pretty sweet basslines though [ex: Sick Sad Little World, Megalomaniac] but they definately not as original as Dirks, but most of them are more difficult.

I was surprised when I got a copy of the Halo 2 soundtrack and found that Incubus had like 3 or 4 songs. I love Incubus and have all but 1 album of theirs... anyway I'm also an avid gamer so I was in gamer/guitarist/aficionado heaven when I found that out
