Opeth-Demon of the Fall, just a killer song
Opeth-Blackwater Park, probably my favorite song
Opeth-Drapery Falls, when the weird, dissonant harmonies come in it sounds insane

nay, it is from one of their first two albums, and my metalness is slipping because i cant remember which, but the original does have the mighty paul d'anno on vocals.

Sean Olson has a fucking freaky riff, can't believe I forgot that.
So does A.D.I.D.A.S.
The bass riff in the intro to Same Man by Korn is freaky.
The music in Camel Song by Korn is also freaky.
The intro to The Moor by Opeth

Veteran of the psychic wars 11-29-2004 06:44 AM

Favourite most evil riff is Blue Oyster Cults 'Cities On Flame With Rock And Roll' (directly inspired by the riff to Black Sabbaths 'The Wizard'). First time hearing that I always thought it was a great evil riff.
Just my opinion...

In my opinion, the choir thing in the background is what makes it creepy. Plus Till does a different vocal style than usual.

Head Creeps by Alice in Chains is pretty evil sounding in parts. It reminds me of a haunted house or some ****. And The vocals in Rammstein's Mien Teil are creepy as all hell.
