who cares? f-minus sucks too.
F-Minus aren't that bad.

kieranushurnusmcgee 04-04-2005 03:01 AM

Leftover crack suck. Choking victim are good though.

SactoUnited 04-04-2005 03:28 AM

Leftover Crack likes Calvin Klein.

Scabies 04-04-2005 06:36 AM

Lars and Tim could blatantly have Stza and Ezra.

sketchyjoe 04-04-2005 06:50 AM
Yes, they did. The CD LoC released on Hell-Cat was highly censored to the point they had to throw out a song, their cover art, their liner notes and had to change some stuff in their songs. LoC/CV was never much into censorship, so they left the label.
And Mediocre Generica was originally titled "Shoot The Kids At School" but Hellcat made them change it.
Only problem is, LoC are hypocrites
everybody's a hypocrite. get over it.

bands disagree, people don't do things the same way. hellcat wasn't into the over-the-top stuff, and if they didn't want to attach their label to a record called "shoot the kids at school," i understand. i wouldn't care what they did, if it were my choice, but it's not. and i respect that. besides, tim's a good guy, and he's made his mistakes like anybody else. he married a henious, blood-sucking bitch. he let that band go right before a huge surge in their sales (although their older stuff is selling pretty good too). but it's nobody's place to tell him he isn't allowed to make those mistakes, becuase it's his life, it's his record label, and he's allowed to make his own decisions.
wow.....thats quite stupid. I love op ivy and all, and old rancid is cool, but tim has really turned into a piece of **** over the years. What with him starting the Transplants (if anyone sucks big balls its them, Doc). At least leftover crack doesnt have songs playing in commercials for Garnier Fructis Hair Color....
I'd rather listen to the Transplants than LoC.

the transplants are not rancid
Lars and Tim could blatantly have Stza and Ezra.
just lars could, tim would be to busy living in 70s britain, and being an ex junkie
their second guitarist brad logan was in f-minus, but got kicked out like two years ago and joined loc .stza just sings now.
didnt rancid do a song called brad logan?

DrGolovaCroxby 04-04-2005 01:24 PM

i thought Stza was a member of the Wu-Tang Clan

cheeser_1 04-04-2005 01:29 PM
didnt rancid do a song called brad logan?
brad logan is a friend of theirs, and has gone on tour with them a few times.
i thought Stza was a member of the Wu-Tang Clan
who says he isn't?

DrGolovaCroxby 04-04-2005 01:30 PM

Wu-Tang Clan > LoC

SactoUnited 04-04-2005 03:10 PM

Your thinkin of MOP man.

dudetezz 04-04-2005 03:15 PM

Meh. I've never heard this "Leftover Crack" that everyone bangs on about, but i bet they cant top Rancid 93 or Lets Go in terms of songwriting and spirit.

Aus Rotten 04-04-2005 03:26 PM

What Rancid song is in a commercial (sorry, don't watch TV) ?

SactoUnited 04-04-2005 03:29 PM

Its a Transplants song. And its Diamonds and Guns.

Nyabingy 04-04-2005 03:34 PM

who cares?...
rancid are good
leftover crack are good
..thats all that matters

mole 04-04-2005 04:51 PM
everybody's a hypocrite. get over it.
Maybe so, but I don't preach about something in lyrics like to go out and riot and then run from them when they start (cracktober fest)

Leftover Jello 04-04-2005 05:26 PM

The point it censorship and commercial music is crap. But LoC is with AT now so it's all good.

Shtein 04-04-2005 05:27 PM

record buisness, tearing people apart, over albums

this doesn't make much sense

POINTLESS5448 04-04-2005 05:46 PM
i thought Stza was a member of the Wu-Tang Clan
is he really?

pogobox 04-04-2005 05:48 PM

Brad Logan helped out on the new LoC and toured with them, Brad Logan was also a friend of Rancids, Brad Logan however is not LoC, I'm sure Rancid are much more mature then to take a lyric of Stza's and hold it against Brad Logan... Brad Logan kicked out of F-Minus? I don't think so... isn't it his band?

Comparing Loc and Rancid is just retarded too, different bands, different concepts, I like them both a lot, I don't care if Stza doesn't like Rancid, doesn't change the fact I like LoC and Rancid.

Rancids new album was over produced crap and Stza didn't like it, get over it, why does Stzas opinion matter to any of you clowns anyway?

nobodygood 04-04-2005 05:53 PM

Yeah, I listen to Rancid and they're old stuff is good, I dont listen to LoC but Hellcat Recordsis Tim's and he's free to do whatever he wants with it, and he can tell whoever is on the label what he wants, Loc didnt like it so they left

cheeser_1 04-04-2005 06:05 PM

you're nit-picking about whether brad is in leftover crack, or just in it. nobody's honestly comparing rancid and leftover crack as similar. they think one is better, then they do, but nobody said they were the same. i think rancid are better than britney spears. and you can't tell me that's nonsense just because they aren't similar. and finally, if stza's opinion isn't worth crap, i guess neither is yours, so why are you posting at all?
Maybe so, but I don't preach about something in lyrics like to go out and riot and then run from them when they start (cracktober fest)
yes. you are a hypocrite in a different way. the only reason you don't do that, as far as i know, is because you are not in a successful or even halfway decent band.

mole 04-04-2005 08:13 PM

But if you knew your word goes out to thousands of people, you should at least make your lyrics a tad truthful, eh?

Weezerfan_returns 04-04-2005 09:01 PM
the transplants are not rancid

yes i understand...i just worded it wrong i guess. You knew what i meant butthole

TheNowhereman42 04-04-2005 09:09 PM
But if you knew your word goes out to thousands of people, you should at least make your lyrics a tad truthful, eh?
I was at a show that turned into a riot and ended up rioting with everyone, getting maced, and narrowly escaping arrests.

But If I has expensive equipment with me...I probably woulda high tailed it

mole 04-04-2005 09:18 PM

Yeh, but guess who induced the riots.
Don't get me wrong, I don't hate LoC, but they seem like they just seem to always go back and forth on their opinions.

TheNowhereman42 04-04-2005 09:20 PM

I heard people just rioted because they sang an anti-police song, thats not really their faults

TheNowhereman42 04-04-2005 09:21 PM

It was pretty funny that they ran though, because wasn't it not so much riots and just a few people breaking car windows?

mole 04-04-2005 09:21 PM
I heard people just rioted because they sang an anti-police song, thats not really their faults
Well what do you expect to get from big shows like that?

TheNowhereman42 04-04-2005 09:23 PM

I don't think NWA ever induced riots

mole 04-04-2005 09:27 PM

I bet they have.

cheeser_1 04-04-2005 09:28 PM

i bet your mom has.

who cares though? i'm the champion of the everybody-is-a-hypocrite thing, and i still don't really see that as qualifying them as hypocrites. "sissies" or "people who like to keep their expensive stuff not-broken" perhaps.

TheNowhereman42 04-04-2005 09:31 PM

yeah cheesers right, it does qualify them more as pansey boys than hypocrits

mole 04-04-2005 09:34 PM

"Why are their so many songs about rainbows? And who gives a f'uck anyway?"

If no one gave a f'uck, then why write a song about it?

Whatever, I don't want to start a huge arguement over how brave or not LoC is.
