|
I checked out Kryptic Minds today, pretty good but it seems completely unfocused, like he doesn't really have any idea what he wants to sound like.

my friend and i put together this ambient dubstep track this weekend http://www.extlabs.com/ishkabum/breadgum.mp3 and i worked on this track whenever i got tired of working on that one. its weirder http://www.extlabs.com/ishkabum/ctc.mp3 |

****ing sweet line-up.
I'd love to see Kromestar play a set. Same with Kryptic Minds. |
Wish i'll check the money situation and hopefully attend.
Saw Bar 9 in Swansea on Saturday in the smallest venue in the world, it was ****ing sick. I was off my face, he played his bootleg of Hip-Hop by Dead Prez and its amazing! Also as a quick thing, does anyone know where i can buy a white label of Rusko ft Clipz - Scareware or Rusko - Do You Wanna Have A Party? Big basslines, good set material i think. Or just a good quality mp3. |
Ah lame. What are you doing in France?
|
Stenchman is playing Middlesbrough later on this month. Can't wait for that.
|
Ahhh man it'd be sweet seeing them two in the same night.
|
Hey, does Burial gig at all? Would love to see him live.
|

I've been diggin dubstep for a while now, especially Caspa, Rusko, Skream, and Bar9. Its just so brutal and powers right through with insane rhythm. Recently I've been noticing a lot of jam bands having side projects that are experimenting with a little dubstep. String Cheese Incident has a side project called Eoto which is fuckin sick, its really experimental based on what dubstep I've heard. The Disco Biscuits also have a side project called M80 dubstation, I haven't listened to him yet but I'm going to see him on December 3rd, I'm def looking forward to it. I saw Lotus last night and they actually had two or three songs where they incorporated some dubstep sounding bass drops and riffs in there, real awesome. I just find it interesting that all these bands are kinda dropping into dubstep and experimenting with it.

ever since i saw bar 9 i've been addicted to his stuff... strung out is so ****ing chilled
