It topped Arctic Monkeys on my "Worst Albums of the Year" lists. I don't mean to sound like an asshole, but this album is so unbelievably boring that I don't know what else to say about it. The Strokes have never sat well with me. They're trying too hard to be something they're not, and it shows in their music. Everything sounds so forced that it makes it impossible to enjoy them.

I was browing a website when I read "Julian Casablancas Quits..." and it made me happy. Like, so happy that I couldn't wait to tell everyone The Strokes broke up. Turns out he just quit drinking alcohol. What a let down.
