MICF will always be my favourite Trio album.
Oddly I've heard more about that being their worst album than anything good at all about it. I've only listened to it like twice though. |
Kif: For the 7" of the month, the one I want is the one with 'Arming the Proletariat With Potato Guns' and 'I Am Going To Hell For This One'.

True. I like some songs on the CD better, but overall quality of the EP is better. |

123 they practically got rid of the keyboards |
Give me a while to consider this stuff. This poll should run to the end of the year, to make it fully relevant.
Although, I'm pretty sure some shit band like Co&Ca will win everything anyway, so voting on most of the categories seems pretty pointless anyway. |

...Fuck off?
Haha, now you know how annoyed I get when people say stuff like that about Green Day. Which they did, a lot, in that best bands poll, and stuff. I do apologise for myself though.... I was very drunk when I posted it and was probably more than a little harsh. |

haha, true, true. |
Only 2? It seems like alot more. And what the hell, first, everyone forgets about the mars volta, now everyone hates coheed.
I did a "ctrl + F" on each page for "Welcome Home". Only Kif and some other guy, if I remember right. Mars Volta's new stuff is kinda lame. The few actually songs are tight (although repetitive), but it's a waste of time to listen through 5 minutes of noise in between each song. There's being artsy, and then there's just filler.
Conclusion: Everyone hates a band when it gets popular.
I never said I liked Coheed. Before or after they were on MTV and what not. Only thing I ever like by them was Cuts Marked In The March Of Men (or something like that). The verse is nifty. I'll still say to this day that Take This To Your Grave is a great album, even though FOB have gotten uber popular since (just an example of a popular band I like). Conclusion: People like to justify their bad tastes by discrediting people who disagree. |
some other guy
:upset: |
Even though the noise on frances the mute (mars volta) is annoying, ive come to realize that "Miranda, that ghost just isnt holy anymore" doesnt have the same effect when you skip through the 4 minutes of bird noises in the beginning. But yeah, most of it gives me a headache.
Conclusion: I probably just listen to really awful music |

(I hate FOB) My taste is impeccable, and if anyone disagrees I don't care :) |
This might take a little counting, but nevertheless, keep nominating
|
Best Album: Thrice - Vhiessu
Best EP: Best Song: Coheed - Welcome Home Best Live Band: Best New Band: Best Overall Musicianship: Coheed Best Band of 2005: Coheed Meh... |
Sounds like those were made with a lot of thought :thumb:
Since quite a few people didn't vote for stuff like EP and Live, I'll count theirs anyway, but just for the catagories they nominated for |
