He's gone, whoever it was.

That was swift.

Seemed pretty cool. NO stars, but very cool.

Kinda like Skoal if you've heard of that. $10 for a 1.75 ...baaaaad stuff.

TojesDolan 10-28-2005 03:27 PM

So... I posted my most thoughtful song in LC ever, instead of just posting a B-side or one of those leftovers... I hope you enjoy it. :)

Failure!

Disco Dragon 10-28-2005 04:16 PM

Yeah...who the hell wants to read something with thought behind it? I like my songs stupid and insignificant! Now get with the program Toejam...

Crimsonpunk 10-28-2005 05:54 PM

Will it be held against me if I randomly insert the word into one of my exsisting songs??

Yes it will, unless you like last place.

Dancin' Man 10-28-2005 08:15 PM

I'm eating cheese fries.

TojesDolan 10-28-2005 08:28 PM

I'm going to a party dressed like Robert Smith. :)
Failure!
I know. I must be the worst songwriter on LC. Like, ever. :upset:

Dancin' Man 10-28-2005 08:40 PM

My band has a really super crappy recording up.

TojesDolan 10-28-2005 08:47 PM

I'll check it out. Hey dancin' I made something some time ago that I want you to check:

http://www.musicianforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=400426

It's not as old as "Or law is crime" But I wasn't around to bump it that much.

Yeah Whoring poetry. :D

ATC 10-28-2005 09:22 PM

I've got some instrumental demos up that I recorded today for my singer to listen and then write a song together with.

Dancin' Man 10-28-2005 11:36 PM

Wow, I really like that ATC. TD - I'll check it.

RunAmokRampant 10-29-2005 01:15 AM

Well I'm not in a band atm, but I know a few local bands that are going to make it big international in the near future. Check out www.fivestarprisoncell.com and you can download one of their songs from their debut album. They are one of my favourite australian bands. Fans of dillinger, SOAD and probably Mike Patton will approve

Crimsonpunk 10-29-2005 04:14 AM

Last place, eh?
Sounds like a step up

Crimsonpunk 10-29-2005 04:15 AM

Was anyone at reading 2000?
The dillinger vocalist shat into a bag and threw it in the crowd. Now that's showmanship.

RunAmokRampant 10-29-2005 07:21 PM

Thats old news. I wouldn't have gone coz the rest of the bands were shithouse and that's the reason why Greg did it. He made a statement by doing that.

I know, I just wanted to be part of the moment, and while we're on the subject---

Jimmy eat world
Feeder
Saves the day
Weezer
Offspring (although they are pretty **** now)
Finch
>>>>>>>HELL IS FOR HEROES <<<<<<<
Raging speedhorn (Don't knock em untill youv'e seen em live)

I rest my case, the case that you brought up.

I played a live show today and ended with '**** you and goodnight'
How long have I been waiting for that

Crimsonpunk 10-29-2005 08:57 PM

215 is a nice round number

Aside from Saves The Day (who are merely alright), those bands are fucking terrible.
215 is a nice round number
Quit postcount whoring.

Dancin' Man 10-29-2005 11:05 PM

I just played a show. A Katrina Benefit. It was lame. The sound guy was a douche who didn't know how to work the PA but insisted he did, before and after we showed him what he was doing wrong (it's our PA so we aren't just jack asses) then he made the crowd back way up after we told them to move forward because there was like a 20 foot gap between us. I did a split jump though so all was well. Then Benjamin Lee South told me stories that were simultaneously very funny and extremely depressing.

Haha. So it's not as uncommon as I thought. Oo and is Benjamin Lee south the guy mentioned in your songtitle on your site?

I hate pirate hats that are one size too small. Does anyone know how silly a pirate looks awkwardly dancing with a hand clutched to his hat to prevent it from falling off? Sums up my Halloween.

I have a funny story about a practice session where I tried doing a long jump while playing. After two unsuccessful attempts, I finally made it across the carpet. The cables however, didnt. I clean yanked the spare cable out the amp.

Dancin' Man 10-30-2005 09:25 AM

Yeah, Benjammin' is the good new writer on the scene here. He lives like 20 minutes from me and we like to go to shows and rag on the other bands.

SubtleDagger 10-30-2005 07:53 PM

Your music's pretty good. I hate to say it but it does need a bit more consistency.

I'd probably like it a lot more if it were recorded a bit better, though.

Dancin' Man 10-30-2005 08:02 PM

Thanks. We're trying to cut down on the chuggas and we have studio time booked for a month from now so we'lls ee how things go.
