The problem with that is that there is barely enough time for them to get read and discussed, and it seems a bit of a waste of time putting all that effort into something that will just fall down the page in a week's time.

Honestly, a lot of the people who said they will do one won't, because they either just won't be bothered to or it will be months from now and they will have forgotten about it.
