Without a doubt its London Calling for me. I cant listen to any other album over and over and not get bored.

this is hard to decide, i'll go with my top few:

Liquid Tension Experiment - Liquid Tension Experiment
Liquid Tension Experiment - Liquid Tension Experiment 2
Metallica - Master Of Puppets

charolastra 07-13-2005 09:27 AM

A Perfect Circle - Mer de Noms
Radiohead - OK Computer
Placebo - Without You Im Nothing
Massive Attack - Mezzanine

WeezerTool523 07-13-2005 10:03 AM

Jack Johnson - Brushfire Fairytales

Before the year 2001 it was probably Everclear - So Much For The Afterglow
Nothing really to do with the topic, but I thought I'd ask, since I've been wondering; how do Circulatory System hold up to the Olivia Tremor Control?
They're obviously both very similar, but The Olivia Tremor Control is a bit more catchy and poppier. My word to describe The Olivia Tremor Control has always been "melting," and if you've heard them, then that might make sense; however, I find the Circulatory System to be even more so (more druggy) and a bit more mellow, at that.

Both are great bands, but I strongly prefer The Olivia Tremor Control.

45 or 46 Songs That Weren't Good Enough To Go On Our Other Records - NoFX. I love this CD.

zmike901 07-13-2005 02:44 PM

the strokes - room on fire

oh i forgot

radiohead - the bends

Kaden 07-13-2005 04:11 PM

oh gosh this is impossible. I can't pick just one. I guess if I had to choose, it would be between Blackalicious - Blazing Arrow and Sigur Ros - ().

Kosta 07-13-2005 04:23 PM

The Dillinger Escape Plan - Calculating Infinity

syurix 07-13-2005 04:40 PM

Nevermind is pretty hard to beat for being as visceral and catchy as it is smart. There are albums that come close, Kid A, Yank Crime, Relationship of Command, Another Side of Bob Dylan, Do You Know Who You Are?, and others.

vismund/\cygnus 07-13-2005 04:51 PM

I would have to say that De-Loused in the Comatorium by The Mars Volta would have to be my favorite album.
It's so much different from any other album that I have listened to. I listen to it all the time, and it blows me away more and more everytime that I listen to it.

IT'S AMAZING!!

syurix 07-13-2005 04:53 PM

^^^
In Utero has all sorts of dumb embarassing moments, "Rape Me", "Serve the Servants", "Tourrettes" etc. Plus, it's a really forced attempt to sound "punk" when Nirvana were way stronger as a pop band with a lot of kick, as opposed to a band that kicked and happened to be tuneful.

llama1600 07-13-2005 05:29 PM

Rape Me is an awesome song, if taken the way it was meant to be taken and not as some 'dumb song'

and this is gonna sound weird, but my favorite album, would probably be Against Me! - Reinventing Axl Rose, it got me into music, and i still listen to it occasionally

Neon Dub 07-14-2005 12:40 AM

London Calling

Probably the biggest influence on my life.

Captin Obvious 07-14-2005 08:31 AM

Christ, this is difficult.
It's like someones holding my CD wallet out a window and asking me to pick one.

Guess I'll go with Guns N' Roses - Apetite for destruction.

Neoteric 07-14-2005 09:45 AM

god, I do not have a clue, it changes every month for me.

kid dynamite 07-14-2005 11:38 AM
