I was ok, reading this just makes me wanna sleep. Anyone got anything interesting to say, the piercings topic wore off to quickly. STD's wouldn't be a very nice topic either, according to subtle i've got AIDS (not very nice isn't it).

You know them funny moods you sometimes get where it feels like you're stoned but you're not, i'm going through something like that at the moment and everything seems to be so funny but i'm also f.ucking knackered. because of this i'm gonna try to start a lengthy discussion to find out how nice cheese can be, so please tell every one what your favourite cheese is.

What are you talking about Javery? Of course we don't offer critiques here, that's not what this is for!!!! This is where people come to realize their magnitude of suckiness. Positive crits? Psshaw f[I]u[/I]ckmook! If I people need positive they can go watch Oprah. If they want brutal, harsh, honesty laced with insensitivity and vileness........you get your a$s over here to the Lyrical Challenges. Our slogan: If you can't take the heat, you shouldn't have burned down that church.


Actually, it does seem like there is seemingly less and less constructive criticism going on around these parts. Kind of a shame really.

Because it isn't required and we're jerks. That's about the only way I can rationalize crits that go 'needs more detail'.

No, I have a very simple way of doing it in IrfanView in either red, blue, or green.

1. Go to Image drop down - enhance colors.
2. Leave red at 0, green and blue go to -255.
3. Put contrast near all the way up or at max and adjust brightness to get desired effect.
4. If you want it green or blue, switch it out with the Swap Colors option in the Image drop-down.

Its worse on the main S&L Board. I dedicate 20 mins to critting some dreamer's poem and give pretty constructive criticism, leave a link to my poem, and the ******* replies with "pretty good, 9/10, cant think of anything to say". There's only a handful of people I crit really well for in the S&L forum and these days the LC has like 20 entries a challenge and I just don't have the time to crit them all. I remember my first challenge had only 4 valid entries.

Silly young'uns...back before you whippersnappers were around, there were challenges with closer to 30 entries to crit!

Hells yes there were. That was a lot of entries, but actually, a lot of them were quite good if I recall correctly.

John Butler Trio - 10x better than BDO gig. Had a 2 hour set rather than an hour due to Che Fu pulling out. Topped their live cd, despite having more new stuff in the mix. At moments, twas literally an orgasm of sound.
