:-*

They have Anthony Green (ex-saosin, high and diving, audience of one), the drummer of RX Bandits, and I think the two guitarists from Finch.

They sound like The Mars Volta.
I know this is a "Pop-Punk" Sub-forum, but I was wondering if anyone knew some good bands/songs (whether it be emo/alternative/metal/rock/etc) that uses the piano well. Kinda a weird question I know, but I think that songs/bands that can effectively incorporate the the piano into their songs (Trains done it, Journey, Straylight Run's "Existentialism," etc.) sounds totally different and seem to blend more styles into one. Maybe its just me, but I love it. So if you guys/girls have any good suggestions/recommendations... for sure post them. Thanks
look at Melee and The Littlest Man Band

Eh, to me, if it's quiet and not upbeat or high tempo, it's mellow enough to mention. Stf.

I mean, Dakota Dakota has some fast stuff, but it's still got a laid back, quiet feel. Something I'd call mellow.

Cope aren't the best, but they aren't that bad.

chips88 01-08-2005 10:09 PM

these guys are hardcore/whatever in the vein of atreyu, thrice, 18 visions, old underoath, norma jean, stuff like that. check them out, they'll have some real recording done in a couple of weeks.

Pop-Punk band from the U.K. Described by Kerrang as 'Brit-Punk's Brightest Hopes'. I've only heard the stuff of their purevolume site, but it's good. Kinda like The Distillers, but not crap ;)
