Oh, 18oC is considord quite warm here, to say top temp of the year is about 25-29 :thumb:

Happymeal 09-02-2004 02:34 PM

Yeah, I know, 18oC here is "warm". Back home the top temp can go up to 39oC! You'll get your skin fried if you stay outdoors for a long time. But we used to go to the beach during Christmas vacation, that's cool.

You really butchered those two words didn't you?

Um, I've just started a new school. I'm in a mixed 6th Form in a girls school and it's the SHIHAT! It's great really. I've probably met more new people in these first one and a bit days than in five whole years at a boys grammar school. Most guys are so boring, I don't even feel the need to talk to them. Anyway, the new school's good. But I need some new strings for my guitar.

^Its true, its true *trys to play the dyslexic card but realise noone beleave him any way.

AfroMan 09-03-2004 07:43 AM

Phew.....just finished my review of "Vitalogy" by Pearl Jam.

Check it out ;)

Tapeworm 09-03-2004 08:30 AM

My new band had it's first jam today. Things are going very well.

Happymeal 09-03-2004 09:30 AM

I'd like to have form band someday(I still have to improve my guitar playing, erg) with my friends back home.. I miss 'em..

(out of place but) You guys know any good guitar lessons website where I can start from scratch(with notations and all)? I've been playing for 3 years now but I can't seem to get any better.:p The Guitar forum here doesn't help either..

School's gonna start in 4 days! I'm very excited! And nervous!!!

Wanker 09-03-2004 01:34 PM

gahhh! i'm moving to college tommorow, and i'm still packing. i'm just afraid that i'm bringing TOO much stuff.

RollerQueen 09-03-2004 01:50 PM

Bring ramen noodles, clothes, and a sheet. That's all you need.

Wanker 09-03-2004 01:54 PM

thats what i planned on bringing at first, but then i decided against it. the dreamcast is going though :thumb:

Look in the Lesson and Articles section of guitar. If that doesn't work, I'll tell you some sites.

Happymeal 09-03-2004 07:36 PM

Ok, I'll check it out again and see if it helps. I'm getting a bit rusty these days, I need to figure how to get better on notation.. Otherwise I'm going to flunk at school:p

br3ad_man 09-04-2004 07:14 AM

lol, I completly fail rhythmic aural skills tests at school. The only thing that gets me thorough is my theory, chord recognition of interval recognition. I guess I'm just not destined to be in Dillinger Escape Plan.

Vespa 09-04-2004 07:17 AM

Im waiting for feedback from na interview i had, should hear from them on tuesday.

Erm, im also quitting my current job and need to write a letter of notice tomorrow.

meh.

sketchyjoe 09-04-2004 06:11 PM

This community thread will never be as good as the punk community thread.

br3ad_man 09-04-2004 06:30 PM

That's nice.

Wahaha! I still have a long way to go.. If I could play the whole of Psychopsilocybin and Azwethinkweiz, I'd die a happy man. lol

The Ashtray Girl 09-05-2004 05:33 AM

Argh, back to school finally tomorrow. Not fun, but hey, I get new stationery! It's the simple things in life... Only problem is, haven't finished all my coursework, or practised the piano much, and my teacher already thinks I'm gonna struggle with my Grade 5 this year. So yeah, general eekishness.
