destiny's child and will smith.... actually say my name was a kick *** song

Slrainox 07-30-2004 12:18 PM

Bands I use to enjoy, now HATE:

Linkin Park
Limp Bizkit
Adema
KoRn

Bands I Don't hate, but Don't listen to:

Blink 182 - I still have a certain amount of respect for them. I still prefer their first two albums.

Disturbed - They paved the way for me. I never would have listened to Metal if it was not for them

Greenday - Just a phase, but I don't hate them

Bands I've always hated:

Avril Lavigne
Fefe Dobson
Finger Eleven

Bands I love now, and forever will:

Tool
A Perfect Circle
Pink Floyd
Led Zeppelin

---

Yeah, yeah. I think my new music tastes make up for the music I liked in grade 6, when I was 10 or 11. I am now 15.

---

Dood, destiny's child still rock. haha, actually I'm not ashamed that I sometimes enjoy to hear up beat songs that aren't depressing on the radio. Sure they may be popish, but so what? If Beyonce puts me in a good mood on my ride to school then what the hell does it matter eh?

PcGamer3006 07-30-2004 12:33 PM

Tantric and U2... but its a good breather inbetween joe satriani, jeff beck, metallica and godsmack

PcGamer3006 07-30-2004 12:34 PM
Metallica. Blink-182 are not too bad and are nice guys if you meet them. I never liked Linkin Park becuz they have always been gay. But metallica, what the hell was I thinking. They may have got me into more extreme forms of metal, but I still regret buying their albums.
How could you not like Battery!

dave grohl 07-30-2004 12:43 PM

It is probably some Slipknot person. Not exactly sure because i've never listend or seen those kind of bands too much.

drummergirl353535 07-30-2004 02:46 PM

When i was little i use to like boybands and pop music, I regrant that, and i use to like avril lavene, I regret that even more, but then, one day i started to like punk music, which lead me into likeing 80s metal, which lead me into liking metal from today, which lead me into not likeing rap like my sister! So everything worked out in the end. :)

Jude 07-30-2004 02:54 PM

I used to think Anti-Flag was pretty good. This was part of a brief foray into punk, which ended when I realized that punk rock sucks, the musicians are no-talent hacks, and the lyrics are less poetic versions of things that were written better earlier.

Edit: Although the Clash are good.

Lead_Guitarist 07-30-2004 03:09 PM

As much as I hate to say it, Blink 182 (they just bitch about their girlfriends in all their songs), Linkin Park.

I admit it.... blink 182... ::the horror:: O.o

christonastick 07-30-2004 11:28 PM

Im ashamed to admit but I used to like Linkin Park, Limp Bizkit, Korn, POD, Papa Roach and most of those other rap-metal bands from a few years back.

_HiGhVoLtAgE_ 07-30-2004 11:31 PM

backstreet fags dont kill me either

Dark Hero 07-30-2004 11:33 PM

AtTheDriveIn198d 07-31-2004 07:38 AM

i liked bombfunk Mc's if anyone remebers them (freestyler) and its still a cool song

Black Death 07-31-2004 07:54 AM

I would say that I've never been THAT LOW(the last 2 posts), but I certainly can't believe I've listened to Slipknot... And Rammstein. Hell, I listened to Linkin' Park, either! And Limp Bizkit! I can't believe I'm still listening to them!!!

But, LB is the band I started listening to rock with, so I can't just throw them away, as ****ty as they are... Plus their last album, "Results May Vary", is not that ****ty... And well, "Three Dollar Bill Y'all" wasn't ****ty at all... :)

Oh, BTW, I started listening to rock at the age of 10, or even 9("Smokey", or "Scorpions", or "Pink Floyd", someone?), so, no flaming me, and calling me liar, and things like that, 'cause I think that before Rock came "Pim Pam Po"(One thingy my 7yo sister is now listening to...)

MorbidAngel 07-31-2004 08:50 AM

Limp Bizkit...

Skulls&Trombones 07-31-2004 08:53 AM

When I was little, I loved my cassette of Ninja Turtles. I'm not ashamed of that, IT'S SOOO COOOL. There was a lot of song on Pizza and stuff like that, pretty awesome

Dizzy Bassist 07-31-2004 08:54 AM

Good Charlotte, a sad day for music :upset:

deldelda 07-31-2004 08:54 AM

backstreet and nsync ... it's twice as bad, so I guess you CAN shoot me ...

Civer 07-31-2004 09:31 AM

Backstreet Boys and N'Sync. Hey, I was less than 10, I think. I guess that's it. The other stuff I used to listen to wasn't terrible (Savage Garden are still pretty good to listen to), and I'm not one of those trendy Blink-haters (or Blink-lover.) Blink-182 is decent, and the Buddha album is still good, too.
