What cracks me up, are these guys that sit here and talk trash about these bands just because they are main stream. "They have no talent" blah blah blah. Well I just think that its rather funny, that somehow they managed to get a record contract and we... YOU didn't. Sure, a record company may look at these guys and see the potential to sell alot of records because they have the songs that they do, but at least people can relate to their music. More than YOU can probably say about your music/band/experiences. OH, what really gets me are the guys that can't play an instrument, and still have the nerve to talk trash. HA. Yeah they are the worst. People like Travis Barker (Blink's drummer) has inspired tons of people to play drums, and have influenced their playing style. To deny him of his playing abilities is a bunch of crap. These guys just need to grow up and realize that everyone likes different music, and if you don't care for what someone is listening to, DEAL WITH IT!

No dont u get it, blink is not "in". Everyone thinks its cool to hate them now. Its more "punk" or "hardcore" to dislike blink, its cos theve got bigger and attracted a bigger audience - more people are starting to like them, even if it is 10 year old kids watever, in some cases this makes it worse for a band, as in producing rushed albums, but look at there new album, it doesn't seem rushed.

Please do not say Metallica is not mainstream :rolleyes: and being a CKY and Blink fan or even liking mainstream music has nothing to do with how clever he is so you, infact, sir, are a dumbass. :thumb:

i dont like blink that much but i mean just cause someone covered their song how the **** does that mean they have no talent. If they experimented with their song with a different view of it then that can show amazing talent.

griffin page never said metallica weren't mainstream, he was just doing an overall view of my music interests and hes right i listen to very little mainsream but i listen mostly to the non mainstream tallica albums
