Tank’s for the support Coz that’s the thing I hate about people, I don’t mind to be criticised on the tracks on how they sound and all that but it does piss me off when people just slag you off and they don’t even know how to f.u.c.k.i.n.g play an instrument, I been doing this for the last 15 years and I don’t need f.u.c.k.e.r.s like him to waist my time

Tank’s........
Ok sorry about the confusion - can we expect some new songs anytime soon ?

DemonCorpse 04-08-2004 02:29 PM

haha 15 years you should be alot better then shouldnt you. and you call yourselves Progressive Death/BLack metal doesnt sound like it to me sounds more like ****ty harcore and from checking out your website you ppl are obviously more about image than music. What makes this music progressive? I hear nothing progressive in youre music and ive listened to youre songs several times and its sounds like everything else ive heard. NOT PROGRESSIVE NOT DEATH AND NOT BLACK METAL
IMAGE IS NOTHING, MUSIC IS EVERYTHING \m/METAL\m/

Donnie Darko 04-08-2004 05:07 PM

I posted in this thread a while ago, but i came back just to listen to titanium souls, because i love it!:thumb::thumb:
It is absolutely clear that you blokes know what your doing! I can see very evident talent in your music, and if i was a guy from a major record label, i would sign you up in a *click*
cya

murch 04-19-2004 05:32 PM

You'd think the keyboardist would be able to type better... Anyway, nice job, keep up the good work, and lose the gay death metal names and you should be all set.

Why should they leave the death metal names if they are a death metal band??? :p

murch 04-19-2004 08:25 PM

Because as someone else already stated, it should be about the music, not the image.

Wow man what can i say...Thx a lot for the support. :)

We all played in different bands along the years, did many styles and well from Rock to Goth to Hardcore to Black Metal and anything that you can think of, but after all those years we came together, it take me two years to find the right people and most important friends that you like to be around when you were writing songs and having a good time (and that’s a must for every band) coz if you are around people that you don’t like you will never have a band that can produce and share equally; that is the way to have talent.......thx once again for your comment we really appreciate it

A BIG thx from DorEterna :thumb:

But yes thx for the support :)
Because as someone else already stated, it should be about the music, not the image.
YES i do agreed in a small way with you BUT (and thats a BIG one)

Image is realy immportant in a band life, if there is no image there is no band and if there is no music there is no band.

Let me brake it down like this to you:

Metallica is a huge band now a days and they dont need image any more, but back on the days wen they played the gig F.U.C.K'M ALL now know as KILL'M ALL they were young and they had a Trash metal image for those days without it they may not be anyone today.

Bands like Cradle Of Filth Dimmu Borgir or even Mr Marilin Mason they all need an image without that they no buddy's. Music has grown in abig way and for you to come out of the egg you need to present your self with a good style, looks, good music, and like Flawlesxguitarist says:

Why should they leave the death metal names if they are a death metal band???
Well ther you have it, hope you dont find me to bla-bla-bla-bla but thats the way it goes.

Still a BIG F.U.C.K.I.N.G THX from DorEterna :thumb:

flawlesxguitarist 04-20-2004 12:03 AM

hey man no problem. Its completely true what you said, you can't get anywhere playing with people you don't like being around, even if your music is some of the best on the planet. Thats why so many heaps good bands have broken up. My band is jsut a very close group of friends who all just love heavy metal and as soon as we record a few songs i will see what i can do about posting them on here.

Doreterna - _Titanium Souls_

by: Jackie Smit (4 out of 5)

Of the two songs offered on Doreterna's first demo, the band sound at their most comfortable on "When Angels Fall", a track that combines the cold atmosphere of early Enslaved with the riffery and experimentation of bands like Borknagar and vintage Ulver. The more deathly title track is slightly less remarkable -- betraying the band's understandable lack of confidence and maturity. However, it is young days yet for this Guildford-based outfit, and judging by the class of material that they're already capable of putting together, I would not be surprised at all to see them picked up by a label in the not too distant future.

Nice list of influences there! I'm especially partial to Children of Bodom, especially Hate Crew Deathroll, Alexi really lets loose his Vai side... Dark Tranquillity and Hypocrisy are awesome too. I listened to a few songs by you guys, liked 'em alright. Definitely material that could go on a professional international release, something Cradle of Filth fans would love. Tell me, do you listen at all to Arcturus? Good stuff, I think you don't sound far from their general style, just a little less eccentric.

Tank’s for your feedback, glad to hear more and more people saying the same about our music, (Definitely material that could go on a professional international release) its been great to post here in this forum as you get people from all over the World and we all know that out there is many different styles that people like, and still it seams that we make a good impression on some people in this board, DorEterna is grateful to all the support that we have so far, and we are determined to conquer the Titanium Souls of true Metal Headz out there, and hopefully change the way the UK Metal is known to people.

Thank You
