cant get enough of this band

This band was my new favorite (maybe way out of your kind) but their music are great and moving.

arcade fire - sprawl II

Shortz, it didnt take that long. I just took out one of the screws and pried open the casing a little and most of the sand came right out. Its pretty fine grain. And then getting it to play is problematic because there are so many little particles that are impossible to get and when you play the a side little grains get trapped in all of the layers of the tape on the right spool. So to play the b side i had to hold down on play to force it to go for like the first 30 seconds. It kept stopping and jamming but eventually played. And it was totally worth it. The most massive noise i have ever heard. Its mastered at a reallyhigh volume and it just blows you away.

I did this all with a mini cassete player i got at a pawn shop for like 10 bucks and hooked it up to my stereo, mind. Not going to fuck up my good deck. But yeh its totally worth it. Do you have any other unholy triforce releases?

yeah all of his releases are interesting and bruce (das) does the best artwork i've seen. there are still two copies of sand in yr vagina at a local record shop here in bloomington and crucifixion hasn't sold out yet (it took me forever to figure out that he melted the damn nails into the cassette and its some of the harshest, most high pitched noise i've heard). i also have cmd.exe(infinity) (the floppy disc album) which is pretty fun. the actual music is 15 minutes of this loopy droney outer space thing. the cmd file has some cool (but primitive) graphics sets your computer spiraling into an infinite loop and when it crashes and the blue screen of death appears the sound loop is still going and somehow still sounds like its changing.

i uploaded it just in case youre interested. there is an mp3 file as well as an .exe file. you can listen to the sound but in order to unleash the cmd file you have to enter the correct password. the riddle that comes with the packaging is:

all of the work that bruce does under all his monikers (DAS, unholy triforce, the gentlemen's butcher, morsunda, and i think there are others) are all excellent. i'd really like to work with him on a release, but apparently his label has gotten so popular that he's got all of the slots scheduled to be filled in the discog numbers well up to over 100 (i think the last release was AAX-069 or something like that), so he doesnt have any openings until next spring.

i ordered the cremation lily and blooming carcass split but i haven't received it yet. did you manage to nab the other cremation lily release, leather satchel, on fusty cunt? i've been digging that one immensely. seems like a return to his harsher atmospheres (especially when compared to the split with natural assembly).

oh and haz i think you asked a few pages back, the name of unholy triforce is a reference to zelda. the dude behind it is super into that game. the potion bottles on his packaging stamp/trademark look almost identical to the ones in the game.
