good rats 04-16-2005 06:07 AM

 I'm currently after a bass head. Either a good second hand one, or the Behringer BX3000t.

Thunder Fingers 04-16-2005 06:13 AM

sounds nice, thoose i know that have one is happy with them. there are some that get bad versions tho' but i think its like with everyother brand...

i thought, well. im gonna go overdrive, so i can go full quality any way..:p it was between that and a EBS... and the EBS dont have no Tone Control, it can be good as hell, but as long as it dont have a tone control, im kinda skeptical... and its upposed to change your sound to be more bassy while u use it and then compltely change it back afterwards...

good rats 04-16-2005 06:17 AM

I think you made a great choice. :thumb:

Thunder Fingers 04-16-2005 06:21 AM

I hope so... i realy hope so, just dont hope i have to high expectations to it..:p meh, if i dont like it i can sell it, i buy it for a value of 1600 nkr, in the countrys around "sweden and denmark) it goes for 3600 Nkr... so i can EASILY get my money back :p

good rats 04-16-2005 06:22 AM

I have no idea about your crazy money. But hey, as long as you can get your money back.

Radiobass81 04-16-2005 06:23 AM

fatbandit 04-16-2005 06:39 AM

Well, now I'm here. Miss me?

Radiobass81 04-16-2005 06:45 AM

Hey Fatbandit. How's it going?

Eddie: Yup, but I then decided I wanted a better bass to take to Basslines, not to mention, my needs have changed just a tad, and I want a bass in which I could reach at least the 21st fret.

Thunder Fingers 04-16-2005 06:47 AM

see ya ratty, hello fatty.

ok, so you are going with thoose headles things? you are going for the cheap models, or the high end ones?

Radiobass81 04-16-2005 06:47 AM

The "fake" ones, unless I find a good cheap one on eBay :upset:.

Thunder Fingers 04-16-2005 06:50 AM

why cant you go cheap ric on Ebay? :p

Radiobass81 04-16-2005 06:55 AM
why cant you go cheap ric on Ebay? :p
More expensive (and only 21 frets, one which you can't reach) :p.

And, if anything, I would try to go cheap Wal on eBay, but that isn't cheap, either.

Thunder Fingers 04-16-2005 06:59 AM

hmmm. exactly what you got to spend on bass? maby you could go G&L, Musicman or so(dont they have 21 frets?) i think they is around 800$..

Hell, you see you as a guy that like Jazz basses, you can geta cheap jazz bass there..

what you need 21 frets for?

Thunder Fingers 04-16-2005 07:09 AM

that grooving overdrive in Rush's "Vital signs" always make me smile, its so 'kin sweet!

fatbandit 04-16-2005 07:13 AM

I always wondered... Burton uses 24 frets in Anesthesia, yet he used a Ric. How?

Radiobass81 04-16-2005 07:13 AM

For melodies, and playing my favorite songs :p.

And, you do know that the Steinberger I'm buying is less then $400, so a $800 G&L would be a tad to expensive ATM :p.

fatbandit 04-16-2005 07:14 AM

And does anybody have 'The Groove' by Muse hanging around so I can listen. People seem to reckon its pretty good.

Thunder Fingers 04-16-2005 07:16 AM

have it on my pc.. i find it pretty noisy realy...

fatbandit 04-16-2005 07:17 AM

Can I rob it off you over MSN?

Radiobass81 04-16-2005 07:18 AM

It's magic.

fatbandit 04-16-2005 07:18 AM

Argh I just noticed a really ugly scratch on my bass. Half of it will be covered by my hand when I play, I guess...

Thunder Fingers 04-16-2005 07:19 AM
Can I rob it off you over MSN?
do i have you on my MSN? if not, Dancing_with_the_dead@hotmail.com

fatbandit 04-16-2005 07:19 AM

I'm sorry, as much as I love the 'magic' or 'a wizard did it' (I must say, I use them all them time...) excuses, it won't hold in this case.

Thunder Fingers 04-16-2005 07:20 AM
