Usualy i go, "oh sorry, i dont have time, i have band practice and gotta run" but to be honest.... now i had nothing to do.. so why dont spend 10 minutes sounding like a retard on questions about news papers... |
I just got some tickets for the Reduced Shakespeare Company's Complete Works of Shakespeare! Rahr! I already say their history of literature play, of which the name escapes me.
Anyhow. Weekends kick arse. Homework ruins them. |
i think that, if i get my bass sold im gonna buy a boss overdrive pedal...i need something to overdrive/distort my bass.... selling that Big Muff may be the most stupid thing i ever have done...
|
anyone played the digitech bassdriver?
|
I have, it's a good pedal, very fun, versatile.
Who else is having a bad night? |
ah what the hell, the p bass can wait another one, ill just take it full out and buy a fulltone...
|

How about you try a Marshall Guv'nor first? It's about 45 euros used and it can do mild overdrive to distortion pretty good. It's been a while since my muff days but I find that I can get more bass outta the Guv'nor compared to the Big Muff. Honestly, if you're gonna spend that much on a pedal it better give you exactly what you need and then some |
Can i just ask how old is everyone in here?
|
How old are you?
|
I'm 20 BTW.
|
Yeah, i have read that the fulltone can give me what ever i want..... (not in only 1 review either)
As long as it can give me an geddy overdrive im happy. maby tweak it to something museish... i sent a mail to bass central and asked what they can advise me... if they advise me to the EBS multidrive, im gonna get it her, its the only thing thats ACTUALLY cheaper here than in USA... im 18 |
18.

I've heard great things about the EBS multidrive. I'm not surprised it's cheaper for you, though.
Serisouly, I think the Fulltone is by far too expensive for what it can do(from the soundclips I've heard) and there's cheaper alternatives. |
not me either, as the pedal is produced in europe, but its the same price as the fulltone....
|
better alternatives? like what?
|
Maby that brand new Tech 21 pedal? (no, not the Sansamp...)
|
i am 17.

Like I said, I find that the Marshall Guv'nor suits my needs for OD/Distortion pretty well and it's not even half the cost of those other pedals used.
It took me months to find it and I tried pretty much any OD/Distortion(It had to do both) unit I could get my hands on in shops. The Guv'nor was the thing that came the closest to what I wanted and I was prepared to spend a whole lot more. I'm just suggesting that you try those units(the fulltone and EBS) out, because if you buy new you're gonna be at a big loss if they're not to your liking ultimatly. |
i hate my E string, it's so thick, i wish i could take it off my bass and all the basses in the world
|
I have a Marshall Jackhammer :).
Hurray for instruments, the one good part of life. |
i don't think we've met micheal royce, where you from

Well, in that case it can't hurt. Still a ton of cash though. |
yeah, but if i like it its a winner... and the Fulltone is supposed to be so versilate(sp?) that im realy doomed to find SOMETHING i like on it...
|
