It's only a Licensed Floyd Rose...
mines is a lisenced and i can't fault it at all. i've never understood why people say they're bad

ashman 09-25-2005 09:07 AM

It's just a bad guitar in general, it's only good for Pinchs and the fact it has a Floyd Rose...and plus I buggered up the Springs when I was changing the strings

crag 09-25-2005 09:09 AM

 oh well

That's...horrible...

Has anyone a way of sending me maiden england through clever technology?

i'm afraid i don't own it

To the person playing bass for The Trooper: can you do the two-finger triplets the whole way through?

I used to use three fingers because I couldn't twiddle my middle and index fingers fast enough. But then I tried two fingers and found that the sound is much more accurate with what Steve plays (of course  ). But now my fingers get tired too easily and I can't really play the whole song that way! ARGH!

I can kinda semi nearly do it properly. But that's all I ever practice on Bass, nearly got his clicky/popping thing nailed though...

the_uber_penguin 09-25-2005 02:36 PM

I can do the mixing...I'm fairly pro with Audacity. If I'm recording the vocal last as well it would probably be easier for me to mix it at the same time.

Chris is working on the drums as we speak. He got a Duallist double bass pedal today (double bass pedal, but you only need one foot) so it's going to be interesting...we might have some crazy bass drum going on which wasn't there before.

I'll go round his house and make sure he records it on Thursday, unless he already has, so I can send it off to everyone.

Creepin_Deth, I'll need your e-mail, the bass is pretty important!

Deth 09-25-2005 06:59 PM

Bah. My computer sucks. the frank, if you want to take bass duties, feel free.

smart blockhead 09-25-2005 07:09 PM
H's solo is pretty straight forward and probably the easier of the two. Daves is just insane in comparison. It starts in an A-minor Pentatonic rundown and the goes up in the neck and into some crazy whammyness...
H? How is there an H in Adrian Smith and Dave Murray? I'm confused.

Deth 09-25-2005 07:13 PM

Adrian = Hey-ridan = H

Yeah, I wondered that for a while.

smart blockhead 09-25-2005 07:15 PM

Whats a fairly easy Maiden solo?

I've got a birthday coming up and I'll be getting upwards of five hundred dollars. What Iron Maiden stuff should I buy? I already have NotB and Powerslave and the self-titled are on my list. What are some of the best albums and DVDs etc to buy? Are any of the box sets worthwhile?

Your getting $500 dollars and spending it on maiden............................. your best bet would be to get the new Iron maiden album the new live one i mean and Brave new world if you dont already have it. :thumb: DONT BUY BOX SETS AND DVD'S NOT WORTH IT
DONT BUY BOX SETS AND DVD'S NOT WORTH IT
i beg to differ......

Deth 09-26-2005 05:47 AM

To be honest, I would much rather have all the albums than box sets.

Yeah, my computer sucks and can't record. Sorry.

-The Frank 09-26-2005 05:51 AM

Ed the HEad has all the cds plus a interview cd plus a real cool head box thing with flashing esyes!!!!!!

-The Frank 09-26-2005 05:52 AM

also, if you have 500 dollars you can get all the cds pluys a FEW box sets

Deth 09-26-2005 05:56 AM

There's other stuff I'm sure he wants, not just Maiden stuff.

Second solo in Blood Brothers (Jannick's). The Wicker Man isn't too hard either.

Format C: For Cortex 09-26-2005 10:07 AM

Thanks buddy :)

Would an Iron Maiden/ Kiss -esque band sound good with female lead vocals? Just something I've been wondering... (with good female lead vocals, mind)

andyhainey 09-26-2005 10:12 AM
