I wonder what is so special about today, but it seems as if today is the day where all information is being leaked. this could be the real deal... |

I may be wrong, but I think if you go to 7-11(the convenience store) today, you get free slurpies. I'm pretty sure they do that. |
Hey everyone should stay on late and we'll have a late night tool talk like we used to back in the day.

Why do you have to go bi-weekly? |
Because I had surgery last June to remove a pilonidal cyst (well 4 times before that also, but I won't count those), and the wound refuses to heal so the guy who did the operation likes to watch it to make sure its progresses. That last operation cost me half my junior year and all of my senior year of high school, and I have a colostomy bag from it too (but thank God its temporary).

ouch..that sucks |
A COLOSTOMY BAG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
oh shi' man, that sucks. I have tons of sympathy for you. :upset: |
Whats a colostomy bag?
|
Meh, its not as bad as people say it is. But I don't get shaken up by anything really, so my opinion may not work for most people. The only bad part is changing it, which I just did, but you get used to doing it, and most of the time you don't even notice its there. Plus its a good conversation starter. :p
Edit for Herb: http://www.nlm.nih.gov/medlineplus/ency/article/002942.htm Edit for Jake: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pilonidal_cyst I just skimmed through those, so if there are any other questions I'll try to answer them. :p |
What exactly is a pilonidal cist?
|
I see. . . .yeah. . . wats a pilonidal cist?
|

Some mxer (I forget who) asked me to ask you guys something. Heres what he said.
"I can't log on to MX but could you ask them if the fact that 9 divided (/) by 26 / 05 = .07 means anything? thanks" So? I personally don't see anything... But whatever. Oh shi! I just realized it... It says 07! DUH! /lets info process NOOOOOO!!!!! |
9/26/05. The rumored release date? Ask him from were did he get this
|
Back on, yeah I typed the release date in Yahoo and that equation came up
But its prolly nothing, but Tool often plays around with mathmatics so I thought there's a slight chance it meant something |
Did he AIM you?
|
all of this stuff this guy said, sounds like bull ****. because a Dot doesnt have 5 points, and they used dots not stars.
|
eh, 2007 sounds way to far away, even for Tool. But, I guess its possible, and it does go along with the equation.
|
Well. . .I dunno what it else it could lead to.
|
Hey everyone should stay on late and we'll have a late night tool talk like we used to back in the day.
I'm up for that sh!t. |
all of this stuff this guy said, sounds like bull ****. because a Dot doesnt have 5 points, and they used dots not stars.
Am thinking about that too. wow.
|
Well they are planning to tour this year so..... I say it is gonna be released soon.
|
I hope that it means nothing...
I realized how far away that is, and they can't do that to us. ...Can they? And someone im that guy if you want. He posted his sn. |

yeah but if u use that date then the year would be 2005 anyways. the .07 could mean something else. hmm. and the whole dot/star thing, i guess thats what blair mentioned, and did it to make it harder as well. i guess it fits in with the whole astronomy/moon thing. i mean everything else seems to fit. the 26th of sept is the last quarter of the moon for the month, AND national tool day. |

Well this isn't really tool related but I found out about this a little while ago. check it out.
"Subject: For those with heads in the stars Something to look out for The Red Planet is about to be spectacular! This month and next, Earth is catching up with Mars in an encounter that will culminate in the closest approach between the two planets in recorded history. The next time Mars may come this close is in 2287. Due to the way Jupiter's gravity tugs on Mars and perturbs its orbit, astronomers can only be certain that Mars has not come this close to Earth in the Last 5,000 years, but it may be as long as 60,000 years before it happens again. The encounter will culminate on August 27th when Mars comes to within 34,649,589 miles of Earth and will be (next to the moon) the brightest object in the night sky. It will attain a magnitude of -2.9 and will appear 25.11 arc seconds wide. At a modest 75-power magnification By August 27, Mars will look as large as the full moon to the naked eye. Mars will be easy to spot. At the beginning of August it will rise in the east at 10p.m. and reach its azimuth at about 3a.m. By the end of August when the two planets are closest, Mars will rise at nightfall and reach its highest point in the sky at 12:30a.m. That's pretty convenient to see something that no human being has seen in recorded history. So, mark your calendar at the beginning of August to see Mars grow progressively brighter and brighter throughout the month. Share this with your children and grandchildren. NO ONE ALIVE TODAY WILL EVER SEE THIS AGAIN." Maybe Tool will take advantage of this and give us a DVD on this day....... |
