Kewl.

Precision neck>jazz neck

For some reason i like playing basses with big necks and heavy strings... i think its because it makes me play slower

da_s_man13 11-12-2006 08:16 AM

how bout i give you my dodgy p bass neck for your jazz neck! hahahah

I liked the thumb necks i played, the thing was so huge and awesome... but it had no dots on the fretboard and it completely threw me off.

Az_Holl 11-12-2006 08:23 AM

omg i never knew this song had a video clip

I always use the side dot markers.

I actually prefer an undotted or block inlayed board.

Az_Holl 11-12-2006 08:28 AM

I didnt even realise that i used the dots, but it was really hard for me to figure out where the frets were.

I prefer something that isnt as ugly as an Warwick :p

da_s_man13 11-12-2006 08:28 AM

Like your P bass?

*ahem*

Sorry, had to say it.

<3's your P

da_s_man13 11-12-2006 08:31 AM

I also thought Warwicks where a bit out there at first, then I realised the time and effort put into getting the ergonomics right and just how "playable" they are.

They are some of my absolute favourite basses now.

I like the sound, but the Thumb is the only warwick i liek the look of and its still a bit ugly. Plus the pickup configuration throws my right hand off and it feels weird to play.

Jody will say yes.

If you want it go for it.

Aerodyne 11-12-2006 12:49 PM

I've updated the list. I kinda want a new bass, but I'm not sure what I want. I'd really like a warwick, but it's going to be tricky trying to find one around $600. Decisions decisions. . .

Akira 11-12-2006 12:53 PM

Is that MM real? If so that's awesome.

Aerodyne 11-12-2006 12:59 PM

Yep. The only catch is that it has an ESP neck. Which after hearing Nav and Radio's plans, I was thinking about replacing it with a graphite neck. That would be pretty sweet methinks.

US$600 is going to be very tricky.

Look at saving more and getting a Corvette $$ (Double Buck)

Fantastic bass.
