I mean when the actual layout of the forums was changed, not just the skin. All the options were reset to default (sigs on, email notification, etc). Then, I think, mx reset them to what we'd had before the upgrade.

Question: When people are reported for advertising, are they banned, or just warned

EDIT: oh and my peotry speaks thread today failed, ouch. It died off I just wanted to say that so people don't think I didn't do it.

Assuming you're the last one who posted in the thread, I'd recommend you delete your last post and repost the exact same thing. That way you're bumping it without a bunch of "bump" posts.

I really doubt that it would.

The only reason I think they would get mad because people don't like it when you bump unpopular threads. I'm not doing it to be dumb but It just kinda bumed me.

It depends on what kind of advertising they do, for me at least. If all their posts consist of going into a random thread and copy-pasting a "hey man, check out this cool site" type of post, then I'll probably ban them, for example.
