It pisses me off when a guy thinks he should cover a song and then it being bad
Edit: ^sorry about that |
Yea he messed up on one album his whole life. For Robert Johnson covers check out Crossroads live on Wheels of Fire. It owns you.
I liked that album :upset: "They're Red Hot" was covered great. |

Let me just say that he covered many songs with Cream that were done great. |
I liked that album :upset:
"They're Red Hot" was covered great.
I didn't say I disliked it. I was just going along with him to say that even if Clapton didn't do a great job on that album, hes got so much other great stuff to make up for it. |
Badmoon, I could of sworn that you reviewed Retrospective but I cant find it anymore, so did you?
|
no...
no...
So, how's "Run For Your Life"? |
Run for your life was really good. Great style of playing :)
Well anyway. I asked the whole forum. Now i'm asking the classic rock buffs. What are your opinons on Aerosmith? Seriously. I'm not a huge fan or anything but i'm interested. |
Areosmith is Ok toys in the attic was good and so was rocks but I dont see the big deal about them the songwritting isn't to impressive the music can almost sound hair metal.

Rocknotroll gave it to me and I was very impressed :thumb: On Aerosmith: I like most of their music from what ive heard. My younger brother and Dad are pretty big fans. I find they are like AC/DC (but they are better at their insruments(harder riffs, better bass and drums) being that their music is catchy but not that impressive to the music extent. That may be hard to understand^ My favourite song is Ragdoll :thumb: |
what defines a band as classic rock
|
an old rock band that still rocks today
|
and about aerosmith i like them. they're not the world's greatest song writers, but i think its enjoyable music.i have honkin on bobo, its all blues songs...pretty cool
|
I'm just going to ignore some of the Clapton comments...
Anyways, I read 20 pages of this thread now! Yay! But really, I thinik we should stop spamming, it's getting out of control. And to those who are interested in the Rolling Stones Rock 'n Roll Circus, there's a CD and VHS out there. DVD is comming out the 15th of this month, so I'm saving up to buy it. |
Aerosmith - I like a lot of their older stuff, not their newer stuff, nor them as people at the moment. They are sellouts now.
|
anyone want some samples from me? I just uploaded some new stuff.
|
what stuff?
|
To start off a new conversation...
Who was the best artist to use the studio advantages to their fullest? In other words, who's the best classic rock studio artist? I say it's the Beatles. I don't think I have to explain myself much. |
what stuff?
I just uploaded some String Cheese and Gov't Mule. |
yea definitely the beatles
EDIT:to slow hand |
what is string cheese like?
|
Well, I just reviewed one of their album. They're a jam band who mainly does Bluegrass, but they also do a lot more.
