Could somebody give me the link to this Gigantour??

RCA 05-08-2005 11:28 AM

Overkill isn't on the bill yet.

Best Non-RIP or PSBWB Megadeth Song = RATTLEHEAD!

ForiegnPenguin 05-08-2005 12:07 PM

Just ordered my tickets for Ozzfest. Working on getting the money to go to Gigantour also.

Gigantour sounds absloutely awesome, though I doubt it will come anywhere near me :(

NP: Exodus - Like Father, Like Son

FatalEnergy 05-08-2005 10:43 PM

I hope Overkill is confirmed for it soon, because if they confirm for it, then I'll be able to see them twice this year!

NP: Overkill - Use Your Head (Live)

Killing is My Business... And Business Is Good is such a cool album. One of the first thrash albums I bought. For non RIP/PSBWB songs, go with that CD and "Set The World Afire". That was the standout track on SFSGSW in my opinion. One of their best songs.

I really want to see Gigantour, that would be so cool. Hopefully they come near me. If not, I'm going to have a lot of driving to do. :p

Apocalyptic Raids 05-09-2005 12:03 AM

I like In My Darkest Hour and Hook In Mouth better, but those two tracks + STWA are by far the best tracks of So Far...
I ordered my ticket to Gigantour today. Oh yeah! DREAM THEATER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I guess I'm going to have to force myself to like Megadeth. What are some good uber Megadeth songs from the 80s that's NOT on RIP and Peace Sells?

And RPA, can you give me your Soulseek name again? I reinstalled it, and would want your name again kplzthx. :thumb:
I rather like 502 as well.

superdigg 05-09-2005 06:10 AM

Apocalyptic Raids 05-09-2005 07:23 AM

NP just means Now Playing. You live in China? cool.

DisposableHeroes 05-09-2005 09:28 AM

Testament last night was the best gig i've ever been to, the intensity was like nothing i've ever seen, especially the pit! I met Skolnick and Greg Christian before the show and had my picture taken with them. I also bumped into dittohead from the Exodus board more than a few times, last i saw he was on his 5th beer of the evening :p We just screamed "Testament!" at each other for a while. Chuck looked right at me quite a few times, i just shouted to him and thrashed. Alex was actually headbanging too! It was amazing and i cant really pick all of the great moments out. It was filmed too, so i should be on it. Pics should be up soon, the setlist was(in no order, they opened with Preacher then went straight into New Order!!):

The Preacher
The Haunting
Electric Crown
The New Order
Sins of Omission
In to the Pit
Souls of Black
Let Go of my World
Practise What you Preach
Trial by Fire
Over the Wall
The Legacy
Raging Waters
Disciples of the Watch

They screwed up during Disciples :p

Edit: Couple of pics

Hui_LP 05-09-2005 02:14 PM

That sounded great!

Yet I wonder what Dark Angel Album I should get, any help?

DisposableHeroes 05-09-2005 02:38 PM

Their all good really, but i guess i'd say Darkness Descends and/or Leave Scars for the more brutal and fast stuff. We Have Arrived is in the same vein of Kill 'Em All kinda thrash, and Time Does Not Heal is just heavy as hell

Hui_LP 05-09-2005 02:40 PM

Thank you very much mister.

DisposableHeroes 05-09-2005 02:42 PM

No problemo :thumb:

Hui_LP 05-09-2005 02:44 PM

Da mn, can't seem to download it. Can one of you upload a song, please?

RCA 05-09-2005 02:57 PM

Get any Dark Angel album, though I recommend starting out with Darkness Descends.

I REALLY want to see Anthrax this summer.

With Belladonna or Bush?

If it's with Belladonna, I want a setlist from the Joey days. If it's with Bush I want a Bush setlist; I don't want Joey butchering Bush songs.

Joey butchering Bush's songs, isn't as bad as Bush butchering Joey's songs

Unexpected
This has been another dreadfully difficult time here in the exodus world…this is one of the most depressing moments of my musical career…I‘m saddened to announce that Tom Hunting has fallen very ill, he’s been hospitalized several times over the course of the last two months. First things first! I need to be very clear about this before any rumors arise….this is in NO WAY associated to drugs…Tom had conquered his drug addiction well over a year ago and we are all very very proud of him for the unbelievable amount of strength and desire that it took to get and stay clean.. Our unfortunate reality at the moment is, the recording of the new album has been delayed due to Tom’s illness and recently it became evident that he would be unable to resume his duties behind the kit for us. …. Tom and the band both know he cannot continue as our drummer and his health must come before any obligations to the band. We have and will continue to support Tom in any way we can so he can regain his health. We all love and care for Tom dearly and will continue to help him in every way that we can….by no means was Tom fired or nor did Tom quit the band …the sad fact is that Tom is not able to play drums at this time….and we (Exodus) have got to carry on without him…. On a brighter note I'd like to take this time to welcome to our ranks as the newest member of Exodus,” Paul Bostaph” (Slayer, Forbidden) We could not be any luckier than to have as awesome a drummer as Paul available and living in our own backyard. I am stoked about working with Paul as he is, bar none, one of the best drummers in the world, and we are fired up to have someone with his ability coming aboard. Obviously, the tracking of the new record will be delayed, but we are committed to hitting the studio ASAP. The songs are ****in' savage and a perfect fit for Paul's style of drumming. As soon as we get into the studio and start tracking I will keep everyone updated on how things are going via the exodus message board…..my goal will be to give a daily studio report…..and before you know it maybe a few sound clips will be made available to hold you over until the September release… -Gary Holt
wow, this came right out of the blue.

ThrashMaster27 05-10-2005 05:08 AM

That's a shame, Toms a great Drummer. Mind you, it won't hurt adding Bostaph to the ranks.

NP: Terminal Death - Judge Death

Apocalyptic Raids 05-10-2005 05:13 AM

Yeah, they couldn'y have found a better replacement. I can see Bostaph fitting right in with Exodus.
