yeah.. like novels.. the bible is just one big collection of novels about this guy called jesus... not even all is about him...

many of them (like dragon fighting and such) are very much like old sayings to.... like here in norway we got a book called "asbjørnsen og moes" its basically to guys that went around and collected fairytails from various places around, and if you change one name in that book, it can sound like all the stories is about one wise warrior that saved the world, not that jesus was a warrior, but there is lot of warriors in the bible that slayed and killed monsters and saved princesses... and jesus saved the earth by taking his life... that part of the bible today would be called a "romantic Tragedy"..

Hey guys I need opinions... fast. There is a Modulus Flea 5 String on ebay right now, and I am seriously thinking about getting it. So heres my question. It has 2 band EQ and Schaller tuning machines. I prefer 3 band EQ and Gotoh tuners. Should I not buy it (its buy it now $1700) and wait for one with 3 band/ Gotoh tuners, or should I buy it (I could always add a better pre later). Thanks for your opinions.

I know what you guys say, just get better with two, but there was an article in Bass Guitar with Sheehan and it has some of his excersises in it. So I'm working on them.

Once you learn 3 Fingers, learn 4. Its amazing what you can do on runs if you use 4. Its really easy to learn once you've learned 3.

Do any of you have opinions on my dilemma?

You have to tilt your hand at an angle. Its much easier than it sounds.

At the moment I only use two and I'm fast, but not amazing. With three I could only do the galloping triplet effect. So I'm pretty much just pounding out eighths and quarter notes with a metronome right now.

yeah, i can do 3, but i've never been able to get to 4

I can do three and four if i wanted too but theres no real..interest..i can do it better with two.

Sorry man. Can't help you out on the bass... not really a fan of Mod's. Just my opinion, which isn't really worth much, but they seem to me to be grossly overpriced, for an option that I really don't seem necessary, and which gives me a sound opposite to what I want. (Don't tell Edge I said that! haha)

Just practice. Playing with 3 came naturally to me because I'm ambidectrious and I would play my bass upside down (left-handed) when I was bored. This is a good way to learn to play with 4 fingers. Also, tape your pinky to your ring finger and play with 3. This helps A LOT.

And I don't like websites with sounds....

I was going to get one for x-mas, but my my parents didn't want me going through basses every 6 months. :upset: I still plan on making it my next. Either that or a 5-string fretless if i ever save my money

ok when jazz band started up this year we were supposed to have two bassists the parimary (me as usual) and the alternate (an ex best friend who i now hate). And the alt was only supposed to play one song, but he kept biutching about it and i was like "**** it , play all of the songs" and i left jazz band.

so tonight the jazz band is gigging, and the lady running it calls my cell and shes like "holy **** hes not here we need you here"
i was like " i dont know the music , and i dont think we are getting back if he isnt there"

so whatever its gig timke in front of an audience and he shows up , but is so pissed to see me that the moment we make eye contact he leaves with the sheet music in ****ing hand.

so i improv the entire gig. **** it whatever it went fine i only messed up once going from memory (the last time i palyed these songs was like 4 weeks ago)

That is possibly the most retarded thing I can think of.

I'm doing this just so that I can playwith other people which I haven't done in forever. Anyways, I don't wanna play root notes over and over. Tips for interesting line in Hardcore? I thought you would be the man to go to.
