Arucard 01-12-2005 04:34 PM

Lol, im addicted to CS Source. Im a hardline gamer, and if i get into a game, the rest of my life is irrelavlent lol.

RiceMonster 01-12-2005 04:34 PM
1337 players are the scourge of internet gaming.
They completely take the fun out of it for the more casual gamer like myself.
Exactly how I feel.

Bartender 01-12-2005 04:41 PM

"5150" - grasp things with a sense of humour more in future. It'll help, especially in threads like the community threads. And for the record, I'm not American :)

Eleventeen isn't banned permanently. It was permanent, it's now just two weeks (one week left).

nitz - Thrice are hardcore, just with more melody than "regular" hardcore.

Hello everyone.

munky_magik 01-12-2005 04:44 PM

nice to see you back on the scene.

Riva 01-12-2005 04:44 PM

Hello. Bartender, I always knew you were quick, but you really had premature stickyation today. I don't mind if the new polls free float until the old one is finished. :)

Bartender 01-12-2005 04:50 PM

May as well have it stickied, it's not doing any harm for an hour and a half or so.

I have another essay to do tonight, anyway. And I'm much less confident on this one than I was one the two I did last night, so considering how little I had in them, that's really not much confidence at all. So in about five minutes, I'm going to go find some breakfast, to steel myself for the task ahead.

And on a side note, that ATDI guy in the Radiohead thread is incredibly annoying.

Rasta Rocker 01-12-2005 04:56 PM

Exam weeks, one more tomorrow and im done:)

Riva 01-12-2005 04:58 PM

Ban him. I don't think you realise that you can ban people, Bartender. :)

Bartender 01-12-2005 07:03 PM

I'm not that quick with the banning stick. Besides, he does have a plus point; he uses the insult "dolt". In what's approaching three years here, I've never seen anyone use that particular insult before.

Huber 01-12-2005 07:10 PM

Maddox uses dolt sometimes. Only place I've ever seen it.

BludgeonySteve 01-12-2005 07:40 PM

edit: it's closed already :(. **** lighting quick moderators

gmoneyguy 01-12-2005 07:41 PM

Well yeah. I meant on MX.

BludgeonySteve 01-12-2005 07:44 PM

I used it once. It makes me sound civilized :civilized:

BludgeonySteve 01-12-2005 07:58 PM

Johnny B. Good 01-12-2005 08:00 PM

gmoneyguy 01-12-2005 08:07 PM
I need a job.
Once you get one you will hate it.

BoboTheRagingHobo 01-12-2005 08:07 PM
I need a job.
I support this idea, because I need one as well.

Bartender 01-12-2005 08:11 PM

I should probably get one, but I know I probably won't.

Grey Incision 01-12-2005 08:15 PM

hmm, i had a job, but they had me working midnight till dawn (12-6) shifts at least 4 times a week around the time of my end of year exams, which sucked major balls

Simple Man 01-12-2005 08:20 PM

I'm near 3k finally.

Simple Man 01-12-2005 08:21 PM

I need a job too but I'm busy with soccer.

Simple Man 01-12-2005 08:22 PM

I'll share my 3,000 post with R&M.

Johnny B. Good 01-12-2005 08:22 PM

soccer is awesome! I couldn't play this year though because I got achilles tendonitus in both feet/ankles :upset:

Grey Incision 01-12-2005 08:23 PM

hmm, sounds like me with cricket, i've been busy as hell, and now it's coming up to state trials again, and i'm nervous as hell, because i haven't done as much training this time around :(

xxxRoCkJuNkiExxx 01-12-2005 08:26 PM

guess what everybody? I was nominated for the Homecoming court! ....and I also need a new job. $2.50 an hour for babysitting is crap.

Bartender 01-12-2005 08:27 PM

Congrats on the 3,000, Simple Man.

Johnny B. Good 01-12-2005 08:34 PM

Does anybody else hate it when your parents pronounce things wrong or say the wrong name and do it constantly?

Bartender 01-12-2005 08:35 PM

Example?

Simple Man 01-12-2005 08:36 PM

Thanks Bartender, no but my Gym teacher pronounces it 'Karekoka' instead of 'Kareoke' or however you spell it, its annyiong

xxxRoCkJuNkiExxx 01-12-2005 08:37 PM
Does anybody else hate it when your parents pronounce things wrong or say the wrong name and do it constantly?
My parents don't really do that, but I get severely annoyed when I am asked the same question over and over and over.

Johnny B. Good 01-12-2005 08:40 PM
Example?
Like Jethra Tell instead of Jethro Tull

xxxRoCkJuNkiExxx 01-12-2005 08:41 PM
No shi

/sorry, but it's true
I'm thinking that the only reason they didn't pay me much by the hour was because it was seven weeks of summer. I ended up getting $650 plus a $50 bonus.

Bartender 01-12-2005 09:36 PM

Yes, staying up this late if you're in England can't be a good idea.

This essay won't start itself :(
