...Just vox are needed? It was sooo accurate, and i liked the bit in the verse where the bass drum was slightly in front of the guitar, it sounded really cool.

Hello again, thread. Been a few days since I've been here. I've been out late the last few nights, but now I'm finished with school( yay) and I'll be able to record more worthless Tool bits. :p

Anything cool happen while I was out? (Other than the fact that Kurrpt is banned) :p


Also, I just got done mowing my lawn, and every week when I do so, I listen to Lateralus, because it ends right when I finish mowing. Insane, I know. But when I was listening to Lateralus, I almost passed out or something. At the part that everyone says is so good (With my feet upon the ground) I just started blacking out, seeing wierd things, etc...It's hard to explain it over the internet, so never mind. :(


Moses-Was it a perm ban? :lol: Kind of ironic that the month after you won n00b of the month, you got banned.

does anyone here know what vocal effects maynard uses for the verses of stinkfist or certain parts of eulogy?

sounds muted and distorted but if anyone knows specifically it would help me out alot

That's really interesting, kind of ironic though because if you blacked out you wouldn't have had your "feet on the ground". Anyway Rounder and Matter did an upload of Forty Six and Two, and it is really accurate.


I don't know, I hope it wasn't a perm ban. If it was I'm going to make a regular Moses sn.

So I've had this idea in the back of my head for quite some time, but here goes;

The Latus Rectum is a point in a parabola. [B]Latus Re[/B]ctum. Hmm. I'm not sure what significance it holds, but I'm sure it is something. Tool wouldn't have done it for no reason.

I'll try to explain what a Latus Rectum is, for those of you who need to be refreshed in algebra. The Latus rectum is a point inside of a parabola that is always the same distance away from a certain line below the parabola.(I can't remember the name of it atm) Any insight on this?

I'm not totally sure, but it may be the way Tool sees his followers as blind sheep. This is just really general, I'm sure there are more specific reasons.
