NP: DEF LEPPARD - WASTED
Fuck, I love Def Leppard. So, who thinks I should pick up Exodus' Pleasures Of The Flesh... or should I get Testament's Practice What You Preach next. Fight!

Apocalyptic Raids 05-07-2005 06:41 AM

Pleasures Of The Flesh by a country mile.

Riva 05-07-2005 06:48 AM

Well then, I shall proceed to do so. Hehe, do you remember those Country Bake commercials, Vio-lence? I think you may have gotten them down south.

Apocalyptic Raids 05-07-2005 06:51 AM

Hmm, Country Bake, rings a bell for sure.

Riva 05-07-2005 06:54 AM

It was the Best Bread By A Country Mile!

I still prefer Wondersoft, though.

God, I love Endless Pain. I've been listening to it all day in my car.

DisposableHeroes 05-07-2005 07:00 AM

I bought off Amazon a while ago:
Sodom - Persecution Mania/Obsessed By Cruelty
Iron Maiden - Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son
and The Thing on DVD :p

metal-militia 05-07-2005 07:23 AM

Nice :thumb:

Hopefully they'll play all the early classics.

I'd love to go just to see Burnt Offerings.

DisposableHeroes 05-07-2005 07:24 AM

Pretty much anything off the first three albums will do me just fine, they better open with Eerie Inhabitants

RCA 05-07-2005 08:31 AM

If they play Reign of Terror, I want you to go fucking apeshit.

DisposableHeroes 05-07-2005 08:39 AM

I havent heard it  I only have the first four albums

FatalEnergy 05-07-2005 11:59 AM

Reign of Terror is thier best song by far, it's only on the '85/'86 demo and First Strike Still Deadly with Zetro, and on the Return to Apocolyptic City EP with Chuck. It was suppose to be on The Legacy, but for some reason it wasn't.

The versions with Zetro are 1000000000000000 times better than the ones with Chuck, IMO. It still kicks your head in no matter who the vocalist though.

Personally I think the whole So Far, So Good, So What! album is amazing.
Opening with a sweet instrumental, it's like Whoa! yeah, not one bad song on thar, then again, it might not be your thing :(

I reckon it's got some pretty sick riff work thar.

Corporal Compendia 05-08-2005 10:27 AM

Mustaine is a faggot. I'd still like to go to the Gigantour anyways... there will be plenty of time to drink during boring bands like Dream Theater, so good times will be had. Overkill would be awesome to see.
