[QUOTE=JoeDaddio]Being liberal and being a watchdog have nothing in common, in reality.

I'd expect that if we had an uber liberal president trying to raise everyones taxes to 75% and extenguish state rights, that the media would have a few things to say about that.

However, we currently have a conservative pres. in ofice.

Exactly, but the press should be concerned more about honesty than politics. I'm not going to say that is the case, but it doesn't really venture too far from that.

Where news is going wrong, especially with televised news shws, is that all they are now are money making machines. Politics only matter if that's what gets people to watch the news, so they can charge more for advertising, and so they can push the products of parent companies.

Anyway, I think we both agree on this, so there is no point in really argueing, we just see the same thing in a little different way :)

Yeah, I get like that. Most people and I agree on all of the facts, and just differ on the lowest level of opinion. It was nice talking to you though.

Hey DFIA

I recently got a new set of flatwounds, and put 'em on my Squier. I'm planning on defretting the Squier this weekend anyways, so I tried them on it while it was still fretted.

The flatwounds have a tone I never expected.

As I think you once said, DFIA, it's the same sound as Steve Harris on Blood on The World's Hands.

I'm excited to defret. Also nervous I could seriously mess it up.

:D Plan everything out before you do it...be it mechanical electrical or woodworking..

cliffburtonrules 04-13-2005 05:39 PM

Ya, I'm using the lesson on here as a guide. I forgot who wrote it.

I'm not sure whether to epoxy it. I don't think I will. Then again rosewood is soft.

But I have flatwounds, the damage shouldn't be that bad.
