I like the videos for The Trooper, Run To The Hills, Aces High, Rainmaker and Wickerman videos. The rest are either live or horrible.
i saw a good live video for Hallowed be thy name last night, it was recorded at monsters of rock.

HondoII 05-17-2005 06:05 PM

oshi

not on the first page?

tsk tsk

YDload 05-17-2005 07:06 PM

I like the live videos because they show which guitarist is doing a particular solo. Also, it shows how fucking awesome their stage presence is.

Deth 05-17-2005 07:14 PM

My favorites are the live SSOASS videos. Awesomeness x 10.

Juicy_Forlorn 05-17-2005 07:46 PM

I just bought SSOASS a couple days ago. Awesomeness X 10000000000

crag 05-18-2005 05:31 AM

Thunder Fingers 05-18-2005 06:31 AM

crag 05-18-2005 07:30 AM
^ I was reffering to the Cover.... thats the worst slaught of a song i have ever heard...
i agree, the vocals are utter shicht

Lord Abortion 05-18-2005 07:40 AM

I completely disagree- being more than a litle biased towards cradle and can't understand the negative sentiment towards a fantastic band

cradle put an extra amount of atmosphere and pain into hallowed It's the best cover of a maiden song I've ever heard

Thunder Fingers 05-18-2005 07:44 AM

oh, the pain is there Lord abortion, the pain is REALY THERE....(fdor the listener that is...)

Lord Abortion 05-18-2005 07:48 AM

ok ... this is where we disagree for a second time on maiden issues- (the first being the unfortunate NPFTD incident)

anyway...

my favourite maiden video is probably wildest dreams... The effect of the animation is brilliant

Thunder Fingers 05-18-2005 07:59 AM

NPFTD Rock

U Got No music taste...:shakeshead:

Lord Abortion 05-18-2005 08:02 AM

5 string, downtuned, pick playing bass..

OFCOURSE I DO!

Lord Abortion 05-18-2005 08:09 AM

my band's version of the trooper has harsh(er) vocals but musically the same as maiden play... (bassist uses fingers, not downtuned etc.)

better?

Deth 05-18-2005 08:15 AM

I like the CoB covers, the Arch Enemy one is OK, but not great, and I haven't heard the CoF cover.

Lord Abortion 05-18-2005 08:17 AM

what do AE cover?

Deth 05-18-2005 08:19 AM

Aces High. The vocals don't work too well and you can barely hear the solos.

Lord Abortion 05-18-2005 08:24 AM

who is it singing?
angela or the dude?

these three must be the most covered maiden songs though

hallowed covers- cradle, iced earth, dream theater

the trooper- bodom (other people I cannot recall)

aces high- bodom, AE

anyone else covered these?

Deth 05-18-2005 08:31 AM

It's Angela, I'll try to upload it tomorrow.

I like the Iced Earth Hallowed as well.

The Mercenary highvoltage 05-18-2005 09:20 AM
