My Morning Jacket - Z
I've really been giving this album a chance, and it's gradually climbing from a 1.5/5 to a 4/5, which is pretty extreme. "Anytime" is one of those awesome songs that you have to listen to over and over until you finally get sick of it.
Z is excellent. A really great disc. Oh, and great avatar by the way :D |
I'm digging Sit And Melt by Alex Drosen.
Yeah it's actually pretty good. It's not the kind of music I normally listen to, and for having all synth/no percussion tracks, it's quite a surprise. I feel like I should be playing Earthbound now. |
1 Coheed and Cambria 21
2 311 9 3 Rage Against the Machine 5 4 The Mars Volta 4 5 CKY 3 6 The Dillinger Escape Plan 2 6 Radiohead 2 6 Tool 2 6 Mike Tousignant 2 6 At the Drive-In 2 I'm ashamed of my name on that list. this is all a product of the fact that i haven't turned shuffle off on my itunes in months, so i listen to a myriad of artists, and apparently i somehow made it a full week without listening to them more than once each ??? |
Hanne Hukkelberg - Little Things
|
Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds - Let Love In
Joy Division - Closer Queens of the Stone Age - Songs for the Deaf And a bunch of other randomness. |

Arcwelder - Xerxes
T-Rex - Unicorn |
Neon Blonde - Chandeliers In The Savannah.
Way different from The Blood Brothers, but good. Lots of piano and programmed beats. |
How good is that piano ballad? I've forgotten the name, but the one where he goes "and they all treat me like shit". It's got really really high vocals and a part where he goes crazy and starts screaming.
I have a Hot Cross song that I either reviewed for FL or just downloaded; I'm assuming it was yours.
If it's from me, it'll be Finger Redux, and if it's Finger Redux, then I think most of what's on Fair Trades and Farewells is better than it. There's more focus on the guitars. 1 Amateur Transplants (81) 2 Nick Drake (51) 3 Elvis Costello (41) 4 Wire (33) 5 Hot Cross (26) 6 Devlin Love (24) 7 Daft Punk (20) 8 William Shatner (19) 8 Rob Dougan (19) 10 The Wildhearts (18) |
