We should start an Iron Maiden tribute band.

I'll volunteer as singer.

I can record digitally now, so we could do it over the internet.

Anyone want to join?

EDIT: I also have a drummer willing...guitarists/bassists?
the_uber_penguin 09-23-2005 02:24 PM

So the band so far is:

Drums: Chris
Bass: Creepin
Guitars: Crag, Andy
Vocals: Penguin

We need one more guitar.

And if we're all based in the UK, maybe we could even try to play a gig somewhere (in the midlands probably, as it's halfway between the North and the South) :)

P.S.
the midlands probably, as it's halfway between the North and the South
Phantom Of The Opera is amazing. Its like, sheer genious.

Such a novel song.

Deth 09-23-2005 07:52 PM

Everyone should listen to The Phantom Opera Ghost by Iced Earth. That's one sweet song.

You still need a third guitarist. I'd do that but the only problem is that I can only record with my webcam which is crap.

Indeed it is, it's basically what maiden are all about.

Riva 09-24-2005 08:26 AM

I'm still trying to decide which is cooler, POTO by Iron Maiden or Andrew Lloyd Webber...

vashts80 09-24-2005 08:38 AM

I just listened to Opeth's cover of Remember Tomorrow, and I'm sorry to say, but it's > the original. :x

Oh well. I dunno if Opeth have covered any other Maiden tunes, but who cares?

ashman 09-24-2005 08:42 AM
yes, definately Ash :thumb:
