Slow it seems. Not much is going on around here. Maybe the weather has everyone down.

My day was okay. I took a day off school again because I'm still pretty ill. Spent most of the day on here. Very slow today.

The weather is pretty nice here. A little cold, but nice none the less.

I have a long day of researching college scholarships. Any advice from college students?

i didn't get any scholarships... i couldve if i'd kept my gpa higher but i didnt. my act score and the fact that im asian would have paid a hefty amount.

Lucky bastard with your nice weather. The radiators in my house just kicked on for the first time in three days and they're rather ineffectual against the bitter cold. I swear, my room is actually colder right now than the outside... I'm gonna turn the thermostat up another couple degrees and see if that helps.

I need to apply to some so I can get financial aid from many of the schools I applied to. I dont know where to start. Google just seems to be giving me crappy sites that I dont trust.

Its cold here to, but not as cold as it should be. Plus its sunny. The way I am combating the cold is with hot chocolate and a nice robe.

My bedroom used to be like that. I used to have to Gaffa tape up the windows so no air could get through.

I actually love it when my room is like an ice box. I always get a good night sleep.

I don't mind being cold. I don't have my heating turned on (never have, in fact), and I generally have my window open. It just makes going to bed even better.

Besides, if it does get really too cold, I can just wrap myself in a blanket.

My dorm room is the perfect temperature. Actually, I'm not wearing a shirt right now :-O

The thing is, I can put up with being cold, I just don't like it. And since I have writing assignments to do, it's generally considered unhealthy when your fingers go numb and turn yellow from typing in the cold.

I find I don't work as well when I'm warm and in a warm environment, though. I don't seem to think as well, or else fall asleep.

What type of band is it?

Real metalcore... melodeath/hardcore combo, no breakdowns.

Oh and a few black metal songs, and no whiney clean singing choruses.

I find that when its hot, I toss and turn more. It also takes me forever to fall asleep. When its cold, I go to bed within minutes of lying down and rarely wake up in the middle of the night.

Hmmm, I take forever to sleep regardless *shrug*

But eh, heat is more comfortable usually. I'm not talking like cranking the thermo stat to 90 or anything...but ~70 is great. Very comfy.

I also can't get to sleep very easily if I'm too warm. Moreover, the contrast just feels better.

I like to wake up cold and then warm up. That to me seems fuuucked up but whatever.
