Sadly, I already want another bass.

But a 4-string this time. I can't get a woody tone out of my Curbow.

You have a horrible case of gas then. Especially consider the fact that you just got a 7 string. But whatever floats your boat.

7-string was a month ago. Unfortunately I can't apply it to everything. I do have a bad case of G.A.S. but I need a WOOD-ish bass. :p The Curbow is wonderful, though, kicks most bass's ***. I just want a Conklin GT-4. :p After that I'm set basswise for life (unless, of course, upgrades count...)

Matching basses is cool and all but personally I think you could get a better 4.

You wouldn't want it (reason why I'm not even going to bother selling it).

The area between the neck and the pickup is scratched up, due to how I slap. :p

You mean get that dried out look? If so, no. It's half luthite, and takes on more of a luthite texture than an ebony texture.

I mean lacking moisture, feels and sounds like crap until you condition it.

I don't even know if I could sell it. I've already got an emotional attachment to it. :p

Oh and FUNKNBASS...I'd get it used anyways. They tend to sell for 400 USD, and yeah.
