Sublime would be so much better if they didn't have such a retarded fanbase.
*Sublime = Tool

superpeer 05-29-2005 06:39 AM

No, Tool would still be bad even if their fanbase consisted of supermodels only. <-<

Supermodel mosh?

Luxor 05-29-2005 01:56 PM

That does sound inviting.

sweboy 05-29-2005 01:57 PM

Supermod mosh?

Luxor 05-29-2005 02:02 PM

I'm not in the mood for moshing.

My brother just called me and he was telling me how he hung out with Architecture in Helsinki the other night.

Well_Respected_Man 05-29-2005 08:19 PM

Soooo I have a sony recording program called ACID 4.0 and I have no idea how to work the playback so I can record in sync. This is pretty much halting whatever I'm trying to do right now. Does anybody know how to work playback on any program?

Oooooh, I have their new CD and they sound like they are from Blues Clues, were they wearing green striped shirts?

hypocrite.

you used to love Tool.

why is it that when peoples tastes in music changes (i'm not trying to say here that they shouldn't. they always do, and it happens to everyone, i accept that), they always look down on their old tastes in music. most people i know are embarrassed of what they used to like.

surely if 2 years down the line you look back on what music you listen to now, and are embarrassed by the music, you shouldn't listen at all. what's the point, it'll be embarrassing in 2 years time right?

pffft

I've never used ACID, I've only used Magix (which sucks) and some $1500 program my friend got from his electronic recording school (I can't remember what it's called), but usually when you click "record" there is an option screen that comes up before the actual recording starts, and from that screen you can usually toggle "Playback While Recording", or whatever, on and off. But I dunno.

Well_Respected_Man 05-30-2005 03:10 PM

Yeah there tottaly isn't a button like that, there's something callled sync but then it goes into all this confusing MIDI stuff.

Iai 05-30-2005 04:28 PM

So I should be getting my new PC at some point during this week.

Yeah.

Cool.

Okay.

Luxor 05-30-2005 07:59 PM

I've decided to start eating healthy. It's only the first day, and I'm already suffering from caffeine-withdrawl headaches.

I disgust me.

br3ad_man 05-31-2005 12:56 AM

Eating healthy is good man. Besides feeling good, you can point out how disgusting the eating habits of your friends are.

The NPC 05-31-2005 01:06 AM

Whoa.

Zmev 05-31-2005 01:36 AM

Hippie.

gaslight 05-31-2005 06:48 AM

Just a piece of info for the Aussie kids here who don't frequent the Aussie section of the site, Colditz Glider are playing at the Annandale in Sydney on Thursday the 2nd of June. Three other bands are also playing but I didn't take notice of their names.

8PM, $8.

Wanker 05-31-2005 09:38 AM

I sort've laughed at the beginning of this review.

http://pitchforkmedia.com/record-reviews/r/radiohead/com-lag.shtml

I dunno. It made me chuckle.

What? No. :\

I never liked tool, but I still listen to Nirvana and Eminem, even some Limp Bizkit at times.

Zmev 05-31-2005 11:35 AM
But all things end, and as the bloated Be Here Now hit stores in 1997 at the height of their popularity, they settled in for the backlash, which, eight years later, is still in full force. Or close to it, anyway-- I've read several write-ups of their latest album, Don't Believe the Truth, that struggle to explain why it's a return to form from their last two miscarriages, Standing on the Shoulder of Giants and Heathen Chemistry. Unfortunately, these reviews are either based on wishful thinking or plain bad taste. If anything, Don't Believe the Truth is the chilling conclusion to their discography's trilogy of shame.
Wow.

Let's pretend the bolded part isn't the most pretentious piece of crap I've ever read in my life.

Iai 05-31-2005 11:36 AM

I swear, you just stalk these threads waiting for milestone posts.

EdiT: to Jelle the waffle

Bartender 05-31-2005 12:11 PM

12,000th reply is better than 12,000th post anyway, though. So the waffle failed, at least in my eyes.

Iai 05-31-2005 12:30 PM

I just put a Kate Bush album in R&M's 'Definitive Albums' thread.

Should be amusing.

pinkyeti 05-31-2005 01:20 PM

They're going to flame the **** out of you.

Or, at least they'll try.

Iai 05-31-2005 01:30 PM

Bartender already has. :(

Luxor 05-31-2005 04:14 PM

Sweboy for admin of internet!

Electrocution 05-31-2005 04:15 PM

Nonsense. Al Gore rules the internet with an iron fist.

Bartender 05-31-2005 05:02 PM

The internet, the evironment, the moon..is there anything that man can't rule?
Bartender already has. :(
Well, it wasn't you I was flaming. I just have issues with Kate Bush.

The NPC 05-31-2005 05:07 PM

So, how about that local fire department? Putting out fires. Yeah.

Happymeal 05-31-2005 05:12 PM

Did you wash it down with tea?

Zmev 05-31-2005 06:24 PM

the right side of my face is numb

Bartender 05-31-2005 06:25 PM

Why is that?

Electrocution 05-31-2005 06:25 PM

That happened to me when I tried nitrous oxide.
