Well it seems the secret has been spilled by 13th Step. I shouldn't have trusted everyone. But no sense in quarelling or gettnig mad about it, whats done is done, and it seems some people have read it. So yes, that is the information i was given , and that is the information i have shared with some people. Feel free to discuss, now thats it out, just don't let it get too far.

dude sorry but every tool fan should know about this. and i didnt promise to anything. its not right to keep this secret, its amazing news.

Now, I have a big problem. I need to order some clothes for school, and I was going to get a Tool shirt. I can either:

a) Buy the Tool shirt

or

b) Wait a few months, and get a Tool shirt for the new album

Well, i knew if i told someone it would eventually get out. Its already out on these forums, so i guess it would be alright.

I am happy to be one of the first insiders of this, at least I think I may be.

I was just browsing Myspace, and a friend posted a bulletin titled as, "Oh My Fuking God". I read it, and rushed the hell over to here. He didn't give away any of the secrets though. Just the fact that He knew the release date and other stuff.

Well, first, I didn't hear the secret from him yet, although he was gonna' tell me soon I think. I know I would have kept it a secret as I'm able to do that, but I understand how you couldn't. This is big news. September 25 is pretty soon. Except, there's a flaw in this explanation of the symbols. You said that these stars: * have 5 points, but in fact, they have 6. Not sure if it makes a difference, but is it possible that this information is fake info given out to keep people from knowing the real info? Weren't fans told that Tool's follow up to Aenima coming out in 2001 had some 2 word title in latin (sorry, I forgot the name) and look how that turned out! This could all be fake. Then again, this could all be true... It's just, if the album is coming out in a little more than 2 months, wouldn't we have a little bit more information about it? Or perhaps even a single coming out soon? Or maybe, Tool has decided to take the road of Zeppelin in England and not even release singles because they want people to hear the whole album. I wouldn't mind that.

Gah, I feel like a giddy little school girl. All I can think about is going to get the cd before my classes start that day, then listening to it once or twice before that, and then going home or driving for hours listening to it.

well your totally right about everything. tool is...unpredictable. and the start thing, who knows, some fonts seem to have 5 some seem to have 6? the point was to make it hard for fans, thats what deadohiosky8 told me, because this was not supposed to be leaked out but its okay now. apparently deadohiosky is realllly close to blair, nephew or something?? i have no idea, but yeah, tools insane, who knows what theyre doing? they could be lying, since we havent heard anything yet and september is coming up but think about it, in earllly 2004 the news was that danny, adam and justin had made frames for 11 to 12 songs already, and were waiting for maynard to come back from APC's tour to start recording (which ended in June). Carey said that it was supposed to come out in 2004's winter, but said probably early 2005 since they didnt' want it tangled in the christmas rush. but its been months and ever since then there hasnt been any tool news, besides their little april fools prank (funny by the way), and this is all we can hold on to. and also i heard with lateralus, they kinda sprung the release on fans, and like caught them off guard, maybe they wanted to catch us off guard, but we found out? so i say this is that one hope, and im sure tool wont make us wait, but hopefully surprise us even earlier maybe :)

And I hope Tool doesn;'t find out we know... Because then they'll have to wait until the next moon thing... Because that is why they're releasing it then right? Because the 25th is the day of the last quarters of the moon. So they'd have to wait again... I don't know.

You are right. I remember them saying that the album would come out either winter 2004 or early 2005. I waited...and nothing came of it. They obviously have had a lot of time to make these songs exactly as they want them, so yeah, they probably are done or close to it. It's just, September is really close, even if it is late september. I can barely hold on now after hearing of it's release date. I can't wait haha. I hope it's great.
