well, I've started learning Brave New World on bass, only problem is that theres a lot of different versions of it :confused: the one I have works fine though, just need to start getting my speed up on it.

Brave New World on bass is pretty easy, it's about the rhythm. I play the barebones version though, without the strums every 5 seconds in the chorus and I think verse.

Just work on the speed. Once you have that down, most Maiden tunes aren't that tough.

My new favorite maiden song is be quick or be dead.

I just think it's the coolest thing i've ever heard

Great song. Not in my top ten, but a good song nonetheless.

Is that the one with the spinny camera? I didn't like it the video. The intro riff to that song is amazing.

I also get BQOBD miced up with Two minutes to midnight, strange that.

For your Bass, start with some basic plod alongs, and after a while go onto Maiden. If you only play Maiden, you'll limit your style.

Good luck with the test, don't be mowing no chav or chavolas down.

I like the videos for The Trooper, Run To The Hills, Aces High, Rainmaker and Wickerman videos. The rest are either live or horrible.

Well I dont HATE them as such... just the mentality, the thug culture, the lack of respect for intelligence, the music, and the dress sense the lack of respect for intelligence and books that is prevalent amongst the culture is most worrying for me...

I drew a picture of Eddie: From my Maiden-Trooper pencil case in my art book.
In the middle of all the shaded pots, there is Eddie staring at you, i haven't even got told off yet.

maiden is my favourite band...its the best of all..
their best albums are-- the number of the beast, somewhere in time, fear of the dark,seventh son of a seventh son and many more..

I've had the same thought.

Wildest Dreams is a good video, So's run to the hills, NOTB, Women in Uniform, Afraid to shoot strangers, From here to eternity, Aces high, the Camp Chaos version of Aces high is 'kin amazing.

I agree that all of those video's being good. It would be to long to make a Passchendale video. A good video that Maiden could do would be DoD but it's also to long..but it would make a great video if they did it right.
