Well if he's changed his way, tell the Polish bastard to get his arse back here then.
EDIT: Wait...nevermind.

FatalEnergy 09-03-2005 10:50 AM

It would be cool if he came back, but after that final thread he made it kind of seems unlikely

RavenousMetalist87 09-03-2005 03:22 PM

On a lighter note, I bought a Destruction shirt today from this little shop in my neighbor town. I was surprised that they had it. I could only get Large, but it was still a cool shirt.

Terrorzone 09-03-2005 05:45 PM

This blows, I was supposed to see Obituary and Napalm Death tonight but I find a ride or a car. But I now have Dreamweaver on vinyl.

Necrophagist-Stabwound

metal-militia 09-03-2005 05:54 PM

you got Dreamweaver? Nice!! :thumb:

Terrorzone 09-03-2005 06:07 PM

Yeah, the only reason he sold it to me was because he found another one signed by Andy and Martin :amaze:

The suprising thing is, he wasn't banned for that thread...

SomeGuySomewhere 09-03-2005 07:16 PM

Sorry if this has already been discussed but does anyone have the new Exodus album? I heard it is suppose to be pretty **** good.

Apocalyptic Raids 09-03-2005 07:17 PM

The new Exodus does indeed rule.

SomeGuySomewhere 09-03-2005 07:20 PM
The new Exodus does indeed rule.
Does anyone have it because I want to check it out on my own accord.

Is it released yet?

Speaking of Exodus, I got my logo sweatshirt today.

Apocalyptic Raids 09-03-2005 07:42 PM

Its not released, but the promo leaked. I want one of those old-school slayteam shirts they recently rereleased.

There's a new swear filter ?......they changed "cunts" into "squirrels"

Wierd

MAthiAS 09-03-2005 11:37 PM

What do they change to squirrels?

Apocalyptic Raids 09-03-2005 11:39 PM

The new Exodus vocalist is Rob Dukes, he was Gary Holt's guitar tech on the Megadeth tour.

They change "cunt" to "squirrel"
what shirt was it?
The Antichrist cover with the Hell Comes To Your 2002 dates posted on the back from the North American dates.

I almost wore it today but decided to wear my Pilz-E shirt instead...

/idiot :upset:

The festival thing my friends invited me to was a rollercoaster of events but I ended up seeing so many people I knew...weird that one of the girls from Summer School knew it was me even when I had the "KISS" makeup on (it was a dare, yes, call me a poseur now...)

Then the priest told me that KISS stood for Kids in Satan's Service. I just stood there like I knew what he meant but really thought he was just trying to convert me back. I didn't take it and thought for tommorrow, I'm going to try to flat iron my hair to see how it looks and then get my shirt shrunken down a tiny bit so it won't be so big. If it shrinks a tad, I can figure out how to make it seem nice.

I was blasting Obituary on my way home from Mordor and Baja Fresh though. That was fun.

People were like "wtf?"

FatalEnergy 09-04-2005 12:05 AM

Today on my awesome new satellite radio they had "Gene Holgan Hour"...they played a load of Dark Angel, Death, and some Strapping Young Lad and Demonic-era Testament. I could have done with out the Testament and SYL, but it was awesome to hear the Dark Angel and Death. I pulled up to a stop light and "Pains Invention, Madness" by Dark Angel came on and I started headbanging. The old people in the car next to me looked horrified, it was awesome.

That is my useless information for the day.

Sure beats mine over and over. It's fun to blast out metal really loud. Especially when it's super heavy and super extreme.

Obituary or Sepultura does the job. I blasted the new Exodus around today too, that was kickass. I can't wait till the real thing comes out.

I'm done for the night guys. Exhausted, and got to do stuff before I go back to the Fiesta tommorrow afternoon/evening.

Funny you should mention that, my local metal radio show had a thing just like that a few weeks ago. I missed it though :upset:

Can someone enlighten me on what "Neo-Thrash" is and what bands fall under this genre? I just heard about it in the "Heavy Tech Metal" thread.
Can someone enlighten me on what "Neo-Thrash" is and what bands fall under this genre? I just heard about it in the "Heavy Tech Metal" thread.
Neo-thrash? Sounds like a made up genre. If I were to guess, it'd probably be tech thrash with a neoclassical overtone.

Malmsteen with thrash riffage.

MAthiAS 09-04-2005 04:51 PM

That would actually be pretty cool.

RCA 09-04-2005 05:11 PM

If done right, that is. That kind of stuff can get boring quite fast. ;)

Ask Jon about port-forwarding. That seems to be the trick to get Soulseek to work efficiently.

Corporal Compendia 09-04-2005 05:24 PM

Saw the Gigantour last night... but don't ask me about any bands, because I can't tell you. I was WAY too plastered. I got cut off as soon as I got there, and I ended up getting kicked out near the end of Megadeth's set... or they would have kicked me out if they could catch me... I ran for it.

can you remember any of Megadeths set?

Corporal Compendia 09-04-2005 05:28 PM

****, son of a bitch ****!

I forgot to bid on a Soothsayer CD on ebay today!
But I'm lucky! Someone else has it up as a buy it now for 5 Euro... I can't read the German, and he may very well be saying that the CD doesn't work, but that's a risk I'm willing to take! Soothsayer owns...everybody go check 'em out if you don't know who they are. More aggressive Canadian Thrash. Funny stuff too.

Edit: ****! He doesn't take paypal... I should have checked that first. I wasn't thinking... god **** it! Now I have to go get some Foreign cash and mail to the guy. Argh! Oh well...

RCA 09-04-2005 05:31 PM

Soothsayer are awesome! Didn't think anybody else cared for them.

(Another clue to prove that you are, indeed, my brother)
