Ok cheers mate. Yeah I forgot about trying for student discount, if all else fails I can get my sister's boyfriend to help me out, he gets massive discount because he works for the NHS. Thanks for the help, I'll report back when I've made some progress.
Sup lod? Blackpool FC, 3 points away from home to a good Stoke team yesterday :) well happy with that. Not so happy with the shoddy-ness that is Liverpool though...
I was well happy however :) An entertaining match and a well deserved 3 points. Best 75 quid I've spent for some time... |
I'd rather burn money than spend it on football.
|
your choice.
as spending it was mine. |
Barbara, stop licking the chair.

I'm learning to hate being in what is essentially a customer service job. Customers want something and we spend like a month on it... just going to finish it on time as is. Then a week, on a Friday usually at 8-10 p.m., before they want to file they go and change 1/4th of the shit. Then I get called on a Saturday by my boss asking when I can work over the weekend. Of course work trumps anything I'd rather do. Now after working for 6 1/2 hours yesterday it is looking like I'm probably going to be working 10+ hour days until Friday to get this crap done. *sigh* |
What do you do?
|
XBRL
Essentially I work for a software company who's program is used by customers to file their quarterly/yearly reports to the SEC in XBRL (SEC standard of XML). I do half the work for "software" companies and all the work for "service" companies. |

Do you only code in XML or do you know/use any other languages?

The Liverpool midfield wasn't too bad, pretty good at passing the ball around and got plenty of crosses in, more than we did. But while we've got an in-form striker getting on the end of everything Liverpool have got a ponce, as there's no other way you could describe the way Torres played tbh! He was pretty poor. Sol campbell did his best to give Liverpool more goals but thank God for Tim Krul! |
What do you do for a living baz?
Then the special infected would be even more gimped compared to the survivors than their already are. I meant in campaign mode. Also, in survival mode they could have made it so that your attacks went more than 2 feet as zombies. also one hit kills lol so lame
what would be the point of having more weapons and if you hate teamplay so much what's the point of even playing an online game in the first place
lol it's not teamplay its just shitty. I like to co-op with kufflufss and whenever you get hit by a jockey you're just running around for 8 straight minutes waiting for your nub friends to come help you. i'm sorry but if a zombie jumped on me i wouldn't suddenly forget how ot use my gun. it's just super gay and forcing the "teamplay" element. |

Not a lot, very bored.
just been watching the gameplay vids for Crysis 2; their new engine looks great. |

Actually I don't really code. I use two programs which essentially code in the background. The first we use to build the structure of the Taxonomy. This is done for both software/service clients. The second (which is actually made by the company I work for) is where you apply the information (Data and all it's attributes) to the structure. Software clients do this themselves, I do it for Service clients. Once again, essentially does the coding in the background giving the user a GUI to work with. I don't really know XML... I can figure it out looking at it due to knowing a little HTML (which XML is closely related to) and just generally having a coding background (C++ mostly). Very rarely do we actually have to go into the code itself and fix something. P.S. - It would be physically impossible to code this stuff by hand in any where near the time we have to complete this stuff. |

I was in the Gallowgate end! Fucking Torres, more like Tosser. The way he was trying to wind Barton up was disgracefull. Great Game all in all! |

The game was built around teamplay, they're not forcing anything. |
bro, if a zombie jumped on me like that i would not immediately become a little bitch who can't control his movements or do anything to protect myself
its forced teamplay because you can't do shit unless one of your other people comes and shoots them. |
Squiz what did you make of GSP making Kos is bitch ?
|
Was pretty much expected, pretty dull fight.
|
Not impressed or slightly tickled that GSP dominated with just jabs and leg kicks ? I lol'd all the way through it.
|
Not really no, that's what a jab's for.
Koscheck is a fuggin tight wrestler though. |
It's nowhere near GSP's though, and I lol'd because well, I've never seen anyone in MMA just jab through a fight.
|
Based on previous fights i'd agree with you, but Kos was basically blind in one eye and was on the losing end of striking battle all night, yet he stuffed all but a couple of GSP's takedowns and when he didn't manage to, he got straight back up again.
He'd trained hard again on his wretling and it showed. GSP is by far the superior fighter in pretty much every aspect, but Koscheck in that fight never really struggled with the wrestling aspect. Just a shame he didn't manage to use any of it offensively. |

Still not clinical enough, in all the time I've been watching Liverpool, they've never been able to play football that cuts through the back 4 with through balls, they've never had any element of penetration. They move up the box, then pass it around its perimeter until someone loses their patience and tries a shot from range which is usually weak or off-target, or they just lump it into the box and hope for the best. Torres is getting back to being a good player, but that's the problem with continental players, they'll never be the classic 90s striker that Carroll seems to represent. I'm just annoyed the he wasn't chosen as the emergency captain in my fantasy team! So, lod, lit review is due in at 4pm, hence the 7:30am start. half a chapter + conclusion to go, then drown my sorrows from 4pm until I forget :D |

yeah it was entertaining that's for sure. there was bit of play acting coming from the Liverpool players that wasn't good to see, one of which was the start of that little torres attempt at starting on barton. more fool him. got a cracking view of the first goal as we were just behind it in the leazes. the barton goal just looked a total melee from where i was! |
oh and i've had carroll in my fantasy footie team since day one, had a feeling he might be a bit of a bargain!!
|
Barton's goal was just shoddy, shoddy goalkeeping. Well taken like, but Reina was far too slow of the line.
