I thought his vocals were pretty stand up through out the album.

hismajestythepope 01-29-2009 06:03 PM
they are man
kinda boring.

theyre like this runs through with more junts and less melodies and southern dweedles in between junts.

and bad vocals as apposed to amazing vocals.

like their singer sounds like jesse from embrace the end, but if he smoked more, and had less range and support to his shouts.

2muchket! 01-29-2009 06:05 PM

I enjoy the vocals on the ep, but with them now playing metalcore rather than Melo-death they are a little bit out of place on the album.

Still the new album is pretty sweet.

Dimmu Burger 01-29-2009 06:08 PM

I'm trying to figure out what band yall are talking about. Is it Eyes Of A Traitor?

2muchket! 01-29-2009 06:09 PM

Yes.

Dimmu Burger 01-29-2009 06:10 PM

Oh ok. Yeah quite generic, but I like that at times.

2muchket! 01-29-2009 06:12 PM

The EP wasn't generic but the album can be at times :/

Still Im listening to it right now, they write some good melodies especially on Like Clockwork.
All Shall Perish is probably my favorite out of all of those. Check out The Eyes Of A Traitor's latest record, A Clear Perception. It's probably my favorite deathcore record aside from All Shall Perish's The Price of Existence.

also, look into As Blood Runs Black, The Faceless, and Architects.
Have got the Architects already and hangin for their new one. Going to see As Blood Runs Black soon and The Faceless is on my want list. As for the The Eyes Of A Traitor, I haven't heard of them so I'll I scope them out. Cheers

hismajestythepope 01-29-2009 07:59 PM

The Eyes Of A Traitor and Architects have nothing to do with death metal.

The Faceless, As Blood Runs Black, and All Shall Perish have nothing to do with hardcore.

How the **** is any of that deathcore. :(

Also, one generic band to rule them all: Embrace The End.

The Feeding 01-29-2009 08:04 PM

but they are all good! and i second Embrace The End does suck it..

nevertoolate 01-29-2009 08:07 PM

Anyone know much about Trigger The Bloodshed, Belay My Last, Burning Skies or Rose Funeral??

2muchket! 01-29-2009 08:09 PM

Trigger aren't deathcore son.

But they're pretty decent.

Check out viatrophy they're really good. Pscyhed for the album still.

Belay My Last is the shiznit.

And Mappy: The tour isn't good enough to drive all the way up there!

he didn't ask for deathcore bands; he asked for bands he might like due to his tastes

The Feeding 01-29-2009 09:56 PM

new Rose Funeral i'm not too stoked on, but i haven't heard the whole thing Crucify.Kill.Rot is pretty sick imo, i got into that band when my buddy toured with them.

Trigger The Bloodshed is decent, not anything to write home about but one track that stands out is Rebirth, the drums are killer!!

alytee123 01-30-2009 08:05 AM

Saw Trigger The Bloodshed support Meshuggah, was not impressed at all.

SlightlyEpic 01-30-2009 12:26 PM

I know the drummer of Trigger the Bloodshed, he used to go to my school.

Are you kidding me, the EP was soo generic, I find their take on metalcore much more refreshing.

The EP wasn't even that good besides dismemberance.

Dimmu Burger 01-30-2009 05:45 PM

Wrath Of Ragnarok isn't deathcore. GTFO please.

The Feeding 01-30-2009 06:29 PM

should i even bother checking that band out?

xMalcolmXx 01-30-2009 08:19 PM

no.

Pebster49 01-31-2009 05:46 AM
