I looked at the box, it is the actual cd.
Was £11 or £12 as well, I may buy it tomorrow.

Bad Blood 05-27-2006 03:49 AM

I'll get it next time i'm in HMV. I've got a gift card thing, so that makes it better.

/listening to AvA for the first time in a while. I forgot how much I liked it.

I bought that a while ago off the website, but it does have all the tracks. It also has the promo stickers. I might have posted in the thread about it.

punkrocker-182 05-27-2006 01:22 PM

So are they like making new ones now?

Get Fighted 05-27-2006 01:28 PM

Maybe HMV found old stock or something..

yourstruly 05-27-2006 07:18 PM

Does anyone here have the clips from Blinks 1997 Warped Tour show and know what order it goes in?

Kif 05-27-2006 07:24 PM

On that HMV site, it says TMTTS was released on Island. But I have the CD, and it clearly says MCA. Either there's something very dodgy with this new-found copy of the CD, or Island somehow got the rights to sell the CD

yourstruly 05-27-2006 07:34 PM

Wikipedia says it was released on MCA.

poo-poo-pee-pee 05-27-2006 09:03 PM

Who are blink currently signed to? Or were before the 'hiatus'? I could just check the CD, but I'm lazy. If it is Island, maybe they have the right to sell TMTATS? If not, my theory's rooted up the ***.

Pazz 05-27-2006 09:07 PM

Geffen

punkrocker-182 05-27-2006 10:08 PM

Geffen, on the S/T and Greatest Hits CD,
But MCA on all the rest.

poo-poo-pee-pee 05-28-2006 02:00 AM

Oh yeah, I knew that.
Then where the hell do Island come into it?
There's something going on there...

yourstruly 05-28-2006 02:49 AM

Do island and MCA(geffen) have any sort of partnership type things going on?

Kif 05-28-2006 05:23 AM

Geffen bought the Music Cemetery of America, so they own rights to all Blink's albums (Except Buddha and Cheshire Cat, they were on Kung Fu I think)

I believe Buddha was on Kung Fu and Cheshire Cat was on Grilled Cheese. Not that it matters to what we're talking about.

I believe your right. :thumb:

From tomsangels.com

Tom Delonge on whether "No It Isn't" is about him:
"I don’t know their intentions. They're probably hurt by the whole thing. It was probably tough on them like it was myself. I haven’t talked to them in over a year so I don’t know where they're coming from and I don’t know what they mean. They have their own choices of how they want to present their music and how they want to debut their band so I can't look into why they do what they do."

Pazz 05-28-2006 12:20 PM

Wasn't there an article about Tom talking to Mark and everything is fine between them again.

Bad Blood 05-28-2006 12:26 PM

Yeah, I think so.

I don't think Tom could really care less about Mark/Trav anymore tbh.

Pazz 05-28-2006 12:30 PM

Well there was talks about them releasing that demo CD after this is all over. But that is probably a rumor and many other things that have been said probably are. That's why you don't believe everything the internet tells you.

Bad Blood 05-28-2006 12:33 PM

lolz internets.

I doubt there'll be a demo CD. It would be a bit : / if there was though.

I mean, it's not like it'll be the real Blink after everything that's happened - the music won't be as good.

DJ Ducksauce 05-28-2006 12:34 PM

You can't believe the internet?

Oh no, my life is ruined. :(

Pazz 05-28-2006 12:34 PM
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Plus_44

As of May 16th, 2006, Mark is still recording songs for +44. During his 15th podcast, he talked about their newest song, "Lillian", which, according to Mark, will "kick a million asses."
Uh oh, Mark is doing what Tom did, just not quite as bad.

Bad Blood 05-28-2006 12:41 PM

Not as much as Tom though.

DepthsOfDreams555 05-28-2006 01:31 PM

And not in such a serious manner.

Pazz 05-28-2006 01:32 PM

Yeah. I'm looking forward to Plus 44.

Bad Blood 05-28-2006 01:32 PM

Me too. I have a lot of respect for Mark.

DepthsOfDreams555 05-28-2006 01:33 PM

Ya I'm looking forward to Plus 44 too, I think I will like Plus 44 and AVA the same. I don't think I will favor one band.
