^what's wrong with RoC besides the later songs?
|
Atdi is not any good at all if you ask me.

John Cena & Tha Trademark.
Seriously. "Bad Bad Man" beats the fuck out of any song I've heard in awhile. |
I hope you aren't listening to RoC.
It's a pretty standard starting point, as far as I know. Just as long as you go further back after that. |
^what's wrong with RoC besides the later songs?
The later songs are the good ones. It's just a very bad look into ATDIs message, in my opinion. |
Their "message"?
 Give me a break. |

Mission of Burma - ONoffON
That's their least produced album and loudest which makes it pretty fun. It's neat to hear the changes in technology between Vs and ONoffON. Plus it does have some decent songs on it. I'm looking forward to their new album. |
I'm looking forward to their new album.
It must be the first time I've seen you say that. :) May you say it many more times. I don't like ONoffON as much as Vs. but it's still pretty cool. I'm listening to You Forgot It In People, see my review that will shortly appear on sputnik. |

NPC, what is the newest album you enjoy?

Okay but it's still post-punk. |

It's the only one I have. Would Vs be good to get next? |
Okay but it's still post-punk.
Is it? Anything after punk (AS IN MUSIC THAT IS INDEPENDENT/ALTERNATIVE/UNDERGROUND/HARDCORE/POST HARDCORE from the early 1980s to even the mid 1990s) can be lumped into that "genre" if you want. What's your point?
It's the only one I have. Would Vs be good to get next?
You'll either be blown out of the water by Vs or you won't get it. So if you're interested in hearing Burma at their peak pick it up. |

I think I'll check it out. |

Nothing, I'm just saying that even though you proved that you listen to newer music, it's still very much in the same style as the music that you almost exclusively enjoy. I know you listen to other genres, but I guess most people don't. Also, you know very well that post-punk is a specific genre and not dependent on a timeline. Sheesh, you're almost as bad as people who think that emo means "emotional." |

Their loss I suppose, they don't take the time to talk to me on AIM and get to know my musical tastes and ideas. 2) You knew what I meant and that's why I didn't edit the post. |

What do you think of this? I thought it was pretty crap the first time I heard it but I've since played it a fwe times and it seems pretty good. |
It has some amazing songs on it and the production brings them out better than it does on Clarity. Among others, "Drugs or Me" is absolutely incredible.
I've got this one and Clarity and I've heard Bleed American a few times (I like that one the least), what is Static Prevails like? |
