I'm getting a Creative Audigy ZS 2 Platinum Pro, same company no?

i was thinking of getting that, then the creative live drive
and then i can plug my bass into my computer and record...

what software is good to use? (for recording/mixing..etc...etc...)

yea.. same company... I've got the creative 5.1....and really like it, but i need an upgrade..so creative seem a safe option, and il get the latest, 7.1
