* Immediately re-iterating to the Melody Maker that Enoch Powell was "a prophet";
* Later apologising, under duress, in a letter to the Maker, signing off: "Enoch is the only politician mad enough to run this country";
* Playing the Mandela gig and having the promoter Jerry Dammers ask him if he'd like to take the opportunity to withdraw his support for Powell - "and I thought "you must be ****ing joking", and I wouldn't do it";
* Telling Uncut that "[t]here was something about [Powell] that I thought was outrageously brave... he spoke from the heart and I recognised that".

You'd think the Nelson Mandela concert would have been a good opportunity to make it clear that he disagreed with things he had said before, no? My ***.

We're trying to figure out ways on how to make the Sputnik community tighter, so we wanted to see how adverse of a reaction the site itself gets before deciding anything.

EDIT: the general consensus is that the site itself looks nice and is set up well, but that there is no community, so that's why we're trying to think of ways to restore that community feeling.

Hmm, I use a router, I might have problems but I'm way too lazy to look into them. I know it has something to do with opening up ports.

It's coming here to a lame venue. Terror, Full Blown Chaos and Throwdown are the only bands I'd watch with Terror being the only band I'd be close up for. Gwar would be fun to see. Not worth the like 40 dollar ticket though.
